QuoteTurdontherun At least one has to say it indeed sounds very much like "scarred old slaver" when Keith (?) quite slowly recites the first lines in @#$%& Blues over slo'-mo' (?) backstage-footage. Been a while since I last saw the movie, so I can't seem to remember the exact circumstances. Near the end, perhaps? "Skydog slaver"...? A bit far-fetched, I'

dont think i've ever heard them do the extra verse in whip but i seem to remember mick throwing in that lyric about girls are just like street cars.. you know when it slows down and he ad-libs before the sax solo...sometimes i feel abandoned...!! please dont ask me what year or which show.

QuoteElmo Lewis Quote24FPS Okay. So what the hell sense does 'Skydog Slaver' mean? It's in Keith's book - Skydog was Duane Allman's nickname. Mick saw it at Mussle Shoals and liked the way it sounded. Per Jim Dickinson: Mick put the lyric in BS. Didn't I write this in the initial post? yes,you wrote it in the initial post,we got that. now what is being discussed

Quoteslew a friend would not do to mick what keith did in his book A friend would also not do a backroom deal for his solo albums on a record deal and not tell the rest of the band. I don't get what all the fuss is that Keith did to Mick in his book. It is not as bad as people make it out to be! uh,yeah-except that he could have just made a separate deal on his own and kept all the

QuoteGrison Mick Jagger knows exactly how to please the audience by having fun. I remember Fankfurt 07 when Keith was absolutely nothing and did loose all tunes during Sympathy and Ronnie wouldn't fine the tune either Mick just saved the song in a way to the end which was marvellous. Perhaps he didn't change his dance style, does he haveto? Perhaps no truly he became older, like we a

truth is that the absolute top names of the year in pop, rap,r&b,country etc were there and guess what? they were on their feet, singing, dancing and waving their hands in the air with ear to ear smiles just totally giving it up for mick jagger. the press has been nearly 100% positive on tv,print and the net with people using words like "ageless" and "show stopping". th

as someone who had to scrape up tickets for nearly every band mentioned ,trust me,it wasnt even close- the stones and zeppelin.there was no way to accurately judge who could sell the most tickets because they simply sold out every show as soon as it went on sale and you got the feeling that no matter how many shows each band played every one would sell-out. you could always buy tickets of

QuoteBrue Fergie is hot. Christina Aguilera is hot. Suck on it and like it. so if you cant remember the words to the freakin national anthem or as in fergies case you have such a terrible, weak voice that it has to be doctored in a studio to even sound half good it doesnt matter as long as you're "hot" next time mom and dad let you on the computer go somewhere other than a

They are if you're f-ing Jimi Hendrix. its one of those" who are you again?" moments.dumbass actually thought that his place in the universe was such that he could judge jimi hendrix's look.time to crawl back under your rock little fella.

it was a clear message-they will work with whoever comes up with the money. the band were letting everyone know that cohl has no inside track and his past with them means nothing.word probably got back to them that he was implying some kind of connection to them because of the past.it reminds me of what ronnie once said of the stones attitude while dealing with people-"thank you,now f/ck

james kirk: it was obvious what you meant but you're still gonna get flack for not following the "hardcore fan" narrative.you have to realise you're in an alternate universe where the stones should play for less money and play songs most of the crowd doesnt know.oh,yeah and they should play for smaller crowds too. and remember, they WOULD play for less money and play ob

1. mick would never tell keith and ronnie how they should play,he's smart enough to know how good they are and lets them handle things. 2.its extremely presumptuous to think you know what motivates a person you've never met .people are complicated, jagger may love doing a live gig one day because it reminds him of his youth, another because of the money, another because he loves perform
