Initially, I used bo in love with Midnight Rambler, now I can't help to play it complete. It's pure magic from the intro to the very end: you can feel the audience, the mood and the whole group on fire. It's Keith's own legacy...

CW has changed his way of signing through the years. I have a very old Italian Ya-ya signed by CW and has a completely different autograph. I've investigated the web and found a lot of variations. Mine was made during the Italian venues of the 1970 tour, if the story I've been told is true. I have copy since the 80s. Congratulations for your nice autographs. Luca

Great poster, indeed! I got in Great Britain in 1980. Only two posters, as far as I know, from the New Barbarians tour: this one and another horizontal one with Keith and Ron (yellow shirt) sharing the same microphone. This latter one has a thin red border. I've had them on the wall for a very long time. Now they're carefully rolled and art part of my poster collection. Thanks for br

According to Stanley Booth report on the Muscle Shoals sessions, they also recorded Loving Cup and, if I'm not wrong, he said that the song never played the same way again...

Very sad he does not mention Stu. Everybody's forgetting to involve Stu in celebrating the 50th anniversary, but I'd very happy to see him on stage once again by holograms or videos. Very very sad the band is not caring about Stu anymore, in my opinion

Travelling is a good opportunity to vist record shops for collectors, but these are becoming rarer and rarer. I suggest we all compile a list of shops in activity so that all of us can use it when visiting other towns and Countries. So, I start the list and forumers of good will can add their own entries. Rules: a. first, list the Country by alphabetical order and then the town, in alphabetic

49, born under the reign of the Rolling Stones, in July 1963. My first RS record is Black and Blue, for Christmas 1976. My latest is 'Some Girls - live in Texas', yesterday. In between, 10.000 Rolling Stones records. Luca

I don't think that any particular agreement has been set. Sometimes, they work together (40 Licks and Grrr!), sometimes they don't. The old settlement stated that'Metamorphosis' was to be the last record of inedit music issued by ABKCO. therefore, I dare to say that they can't publish any studio inedit without Promotone's permission. ABKCO owns the rights of everything the group started recording before July 30 1970. An early 'Shine a Light' was started with Leon Russell far before this deadline. According to Stanley booth 'Loving Cup' was firstly recorded at Muscle Shoals Studios, in 1969. 'All Down the Line' and 'Sweet Virginia' must have been recorded in 1968 and 1969, respective

You're welcome. No big effort, actually, I had the file ready as I published it in one of my book, years ago. As you've noticed, it's not up-dated and still reports 'Metamorphosis' as un-reissued and un-released on CD! Have a nice Sunday, Luca

Thank you very much everybody. You've confirmed my early opinion: too expensive and risky purchase. Pity, I'd have loved looking at it while at work... Luca

Close to my 50, I'm tempted to present myself a nice piece of RS history: a fully autographed 'Sticky Fingers', Andy Wharol included. The entire lot is framed and in VG+ conditions, but... 1. it's a US record club copy (1974 circa) and not an original issue 2. its not certified by the artist's foundation, as it'd be, instead The asking price is € 5.000,00, but

No problem, I'm pretty sure that something's wrong with my copy... I got it by a friend on eBay and I don't know the seller personally, but I guess he changed the cover and this could be the reason why I've not paid a very high price for it. Any further info is more than welcome! Thanks, Luca

Mine is identical, but the catalogue number on cover ending with 40 instead of 41. Moreover, I got without the sealing plastic film so it's without the round colored sticker use to recognize the color of the vinyl inside. Thanks, Luca

I got my copy, yesterday. Everything seems to be ok, but a detail: catalogue numbers onto labels and cover do not match. Would any owner of this record please tell if it's the same with his copy? My copy has the same cat. no. on lbls of the second pink issue, but is folded in a cover with catalogue number of the azure record. Thanks everybody, Luca
