Four separate items; three LPs and the CD t-shirt package. I've received word that everything was underway but nothing has landed on my porch yet. DON'T THEY KNOW WHO I AM?!?

QuoteIrix QuoteDandelionPowderman Didn't check out the link, but could he be in a different time zone (Australia, New Zealand etc.) where the album is released? Yes, that's why it's now available via Apple Music and Qobuz. Fortunately they have no geo-blocking. Qobuz does in Michigan. GRRR!

QuoteNashvilleBlues ...They probably won’t announce anything until Spring 2024. Correct. That's because they don't know themselves. Too many ancillary factors like health and insurance, etc. As the Stones have demonstrated, repeatedly in the last decade, they have a roughly four month window to put together a fifteen date tour and then pull it off.

The Stones recorded enough material for two albums in the "Some Girls" sessions. The follow up was "Emotional Rescue." Be careful what you wish for.

After all of these years the album is going to be as good as they can make it. That’s going to have to be good enough and all this silly bickering won’t change that.

AC/DC were damned good but likely were remembered as having "blown off the Stones" because the Stones kept the crowd waiting over an hour. When they did finally come on much of the crowd was exhausted, thirsty and hungry. It was disconcerting sitting in the dark in another country with half a million strangers. Fortunately Canadians are a friendly lot. Still, we bailed when the trotted

I've loved BLACK & BLUE since it came out. Sonically it's the best Stones album I'm guessing because they didn't have time to muddy it up with overdubs and second guessing. Surely, there are 6-7 more songs from those sessions which could create a "sides three and four" of a deluxe reissue.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks Quotemasseywinos Oh my guess would be playing guitar? I love Joe Walsh, the Eagles reunion in 94 saved his life and he has taken full advantage. I do have a question about the upcoming 4 year farewell tour. Is Deacon Frey a part of it? From what I understand. He won’t be there They bought him off. He'll be back.

"On Air" is the Bible, Torah and Koran of rock'n'roll. It's all there.

When the (unannounced) tour was canceled earlier this year, and we were all batting about potential reasons why, I seem to recall a poster with the name of "Mjagger2000" or the like appearing here. He very firmly and succinctly stated that no one was seriously ill but rather a member of the band injured.

It seems silly to us but record companies do this every few years with legacy artists. This reissue campaign is for newbies. We are not the target market.

I saw them in St. Louis last Wednesday. Absolutely epic! It's too bad they're going their separate ways but they initially only convened for the $$$ anyway. I think LiveNation talked them into one more summer of parking and beer sales.

Peellaert was the "it" artist of the era as Jagger was just becoming enamored of the celeb lifetyle. Peellaert's Rock Dreams collection, in paperback book form, was by turns lurid and humorous. It's interesting to see that he created montages, copied them with a PhotoStat machine and then, apparently, hand tinted them with Luma-Dyes or the like. Cool technique but I have to be

This is one of those albums made for Christmas giving. People will play it once and then play a few interesting tracks for friends. Thereafter it will languish on the shelf for time immemorial.

LiveNation's $25 seats are on the amphitheater lawns or the arena ceilings. You're in the door so L/N and the venue can sell you beer and parking. THAT'S the business they are in - not the music biz. They gave that up a long tie ago.

Do fans deserve an official statement? If there is something to "officially state," then yes. Until then, not so much.

The supreme irony of long-in-the-tooth Rolling Stones fans dissing these bands is obviously lost on many here.
