The longer time Keith is staying in Auckland the more serious it is. Both for him and the tour. There is no list of cancelled shows. They are pending. But they will not happen. That is the problem. Keith is not some sort of NHL superstar they can fly in on show day. It does not work that way. One example. When Mick lost his voice at the Amsterdam show on the previous tour they knew he had los

Did you ever try to fly from New Zealand to Europe or to USA? It is the longest distance you can travelk i the world, if you ignore all those small and special places. It takes 12 plus 12 hours typically, normally you do a stopover of a day or two to rest your body, and when you arrive, you have a jetlag or around 10-12 time zone hours, meaning you are totally lost and wasted for some days, typic

There is a viking ship museum in Oslo. It is quite unique actually. Real original viking ships - real big ones - with space for may be 50+ people, around 1200 years old, wooden, have been digged out of graves and are now on display, so that you can see how these guys actually were sitting and rowing in large lines on this ships, and went all over Europe and even outside. They used to bury the he

The Horsesn promoter is incorrect. Keith is still in Auckland. So that news entry is not valid anymore. The longer Keith is in New Zealand the more delayed the tour will be. And they might reach a point in time which is painful logistics wise. So far the first few shows are off. Keith isn't well right now that is all we know, otherwise he would be sitting on a plane out of NZ long time ago.

I don't think there will be any extra club shows, simply because they are running out of time now, and they have many people waitimng for them in large stadiums all over Europe. I can't see them playing Paradiso and then cancelling Barcelona just because they want to test... And if you ever think Keith will be on stage at half machine then you can't be serious. Probably a statem

The stages were shipped from America to Europe last week. Belgium as a first stop. But that does not mean they will start there. Just a transit point.

17. mai - Norway Constitution day since 1814. Celebrated all over the world by Norwegians today. Karl Johan, Oslo, Norway Kobe, Japan Trym Oil Platform, North Sea, Norway PS. I had the great pleasure to meet Keith's father Bert Richards on tour in 1998, and we talked about Keith, Patti and her relatives in Norway. May be they will visit our country one year on 17. mai. It

If you spread rumours about Ronnie or anybody else drinking then you will be guaranteed your post will be deleted pretty soon. All those rumours are false and they are evil and they do not make any sense at all. So please do not waste our time. Thank you.

IORR will tell you at all times. See IORR News and Tell Me. You can trust the IORR News, because they are by the editor, while stuff posted on Tell Me will always be all sorts of rumours, facts and false info in a strange mix. The news will be coming from local promoters cancelling or actually NOT cancelling their shows. If it is bad news you will not hear any major announcements at all. If it is

Thanks for the info, but please do NOT write in UPPER CASE letters!!! Also, please do not make very very long subject entries. They make it hard to read the forum.

I am not sure about that. RS.com have got people at every show, making their own photos and videos. This material is made available to fans, and then you can log in and check out all of this, show by show, also set lists etc. They made reports from South America, Rio, BA, Japan and so on. Their material is pretty unique, and you can not call that crap. It is a professional site of course,

Barcelona and Madrid will not happen on the original dates. No shows in May. We will be lucky if they find space for these shows later this summer. When they had to cancel Bilbao and Milan in 1998 it took 5 years until they could play these shows, but Barcelona and Madrid are the most important cities in Spain, so I am pretty sure at least the Barcelona will happen.

Don't believe what is written in the press. They rewrite and recycle anything these days. A story in the UK press some days said something about worst case money loss scenario and then suddenly other papers just pretend all JUNE shows are cancelled and think it is true. The fact is only two shows are cancelled right now - Barcelona and Madrid. There may be a few more cancellations but that i

It must be possible to keep this thread open withpout getting hooked into politics. Actually I will use this as a test of people's understanding of the IORR policy. No politics. Thank you. And to Chris, if you gotta go you gotta go. Stay safe, and see you on tour some time in the future!

That is a big joke. Nobody would pay $1000 in Europe. Not even me. I have never paid even half that price for any Stones ticket. As people get older they think everything is more expensive vs. what it used to cost "in the old days". I remember I bought my first vinyl albums for 1 pound 75 pence long time ago, but I don't expect them to cost that anymore. People are willing to pay 1

The price system works. Guess what. Scalping is legan in Norway. Every week-end there are a bunch of advertisements for tickets to Stones shows in Gothenburg, Paris, Brno and all sorts of places, but not for Bergen. Why doesn't the Norwegian scalpers want to sell tickets to the show in Bergen? Because the price is right for these tickets. Around 200 Euro. Which means they know they can'

I don't worry at all. I am just explaining, as some people seem to believe they can do whatever they like on IORR. If you insult people in a bar you get a punch in your face. Eventually. If you insult on IORR then you will be out. Eventually.

If it was up to the Stones to play something they like rather than something the crowd like then it would be a bunch of blues & soul songs rather than the greatest hits. But it does not work that way. They are on stage to please the crowd and not to please the critics. And by the way, they do love to play the greatest hits too.

If you have been around for a while you would know that they never release songs that are not already released in some other format. There will never be a bunch of outtakes released, unless they change policy. Same policy for 43 years by the way.

If the tour does not start within the first two weeks in June then it will be a BIG problem logistics wise. But it seems like Keith is developing fine, and when he is being checked tomorrow, they will know a lot more. I would expect 6 shows delay and start with Gothenburg or St Petersburg. Hopefully no more than 1-2 weeks of delay, that is all. In 1998 they got a 3 weeks delay and then Mick lost

If Ronnie Wood, Bill Wyman or Mick Taylor were big song writers then I would expect them to release solo albums with material from time to time. Like Mick have done, or Keith. But after all these years, it seems like these guys are more into performing than actually writing songs on their own. It is a very long way from a riff or an inspirational beat and then into a song that can stand on it

It is not a problem to say you don't like a song or a band member. One time in the right context. If it is very important for you. For some reason. But when you repeat this in every post and again and again, like in a post where people actually discuss details about the Tim Ries show etc, then it is called a campaign, i.e. "I hate Time Ries" campaign, and that is against the policy

In the end it is all a matter of how big the bottom line is. Every time an accident is happening the insurance cost is going up and the requirements for the tour are getting longer. I think everybody is loosing money when the tour is off. And the more shows they have to perform while the world cup in football is playing the play-off the less people will use their resheduled tickets. Big dilemma l

By the way, I have deleted may be 50-60 new "Keith" threads the last few days. If I did not keep IORR in order these days it would have been a total mess. You all know the simple posting policy regarding Keith this time around. If you still wonder why your numerous new Keith threads are deleted then read this once more:
