hahaha Kiss is far from having the success Stones, U2 or even AC/DC has. The numbers speak for themself. Its not even a contest. If it was a "Clowns lookalike" contest, then I guess Kiss would win. ><

Quotestickydion Doxa wrote: BTW, 8 months ago i went to AC/DC gig in Athens. Despite the fact that they did their first concert in Greece ever, the attendance was 55,000 at best in the 80,000 capacity Olympic Stadium. And, believe me, in Greece there is a huge enough hard rock fan base. I'm sure that in other cases and in other countries they sell better, but how could we deny the clea

QuoteWho's Driving Your Plane? One of the all time greatest! I agree with you. Also one of the all time nicest guys. He´s been in the music buisness as long as the stones. I believe this recording is from 1963, maybe even earlier. Get well soon Ronnie.

Damn... Rod is one lay bastard. When the hell is he going to write new songs himself? All these cover albums is just to get some quick bucks. I would never buy albums from him if he continue to be some kind of Karaoke singer.

I was actually a bit dissapointed by the songs I have heard. Maybe it feels better after a while, not sure. The single Modern day delailah is weak IMO.

Its a good DVD,but I refer Rock in Rio when it comes to Maiden live DVD´s. The best thing about Flight 666 is that its such a great live documentary.

Quoteoldkr from the 3 min mark onwards - I love this version OLDKR That´s the only version of Brown Sugar i enjoy listening to from the beginning to the end. I HATE the sax solo with passion, and it ruins a perfectly good song. The guitar sound is better all the way. + it can be performed by a actual stones member. I say get rid of all sax in all Stones songs. Let the guitars be hear

Quotedrbryant I've never seen an FOS area that goes around the B-stage. How much were those tickets? I believe all standing tickets were 83,50 euro. Same price for the whole stadium.

I couldnt have explained it better myself Harlito. Yes Dave Gahan several times mention Stones and the admiration to them. How Mick Jagger is a inspiration as a frontman and how he tries to live his life healthy now so he can continue to rock onstage like Mick Jagger when he gets to his age. Also the main songwriter Martin L Gore played "Ruby Tuesday" as one of the songs during a

2012..... 50 year anniversary tour. That would be such a impressive goodbye from th big stages. I still hope the band will continue to play music and perform but that should be the last big tour.

Its not a must for me. It used to be though. If I find one I like I might buy it but I´m not really looking that much at concerts. No need to spend important beer time on looking for t-shirts.

Quotesocialdistortion no "band" plays synthesizers PLUS taped music.NOT a band ok I get it. You hate this band. But you could try to grow up and realise there are different kind of music in this world. DM is no less band that Rolling stones. Their world tour started yesteday with 7 songs from their new album. Atleast they are not a nostalgia act. I love both bands by the way......

All the bashers here seem to believe that Depeche Mode is some kind of "popish one hit wonder boy band". Created in some kind of fame factory show. They are not so different from Rolling stones actually. Two legendary bands. DM just shoose to present their music in a different way. This together with nearly 30 years of great music have made them become one of the most influental artists

Quotedrewmaster The Rolling Stones have sold 6,000,000 songs digitally since January 2006, they’ve sold the fewest amount of back catalog albums among the six top-selling catalog artists. Just out of curiosity... wich are those other five top selling catalog artists?
