I saw Jimi in Ottawa Canada in Feb 1968 at the old Capital Theatre.Front row balcony ,dead centre.Loudest guitar I have heard in my life! Ears seemed blocked after the concert as traffic and noise seemmed muffled.He was unbelievable. The Soft Machine opened for Jimi.You can't compare Jimi or The Stones. They are both different as any comparison of The Stones and The Beatles.
