Something similar happened to me during the VL Tour the day before the Stones played in Cologne. Me and two of my friends came to Cologne the day before the show, checked into the hotel and then we did some sightseeing in Cologne and of course we visited the Cologne Cathedral. A German newspaper reported, that about 1hr before show start a guy who claimed to be from a german Radio Station, gave away more than 100 free tickets to people outside the stadium who couldn't believe their luck. But according to the radio station they didn't had any free tickets left and they don't know who that man was. The tickets were real tickets, no fakes or anything.

They have played Nighttime is the right time. A great Blues song. Sound in the field was very good. All in all a fantastic show. One of the best Stones Shows I have ever seen. Jagger was in TOP form. Woody was indeed a bit strange sometimes. But I doubt that he was really drunk.
