The Toots and the Maytals

Same warm up band as the three shows in Rotterdam in 2003.
There good but i hoped for something different as whe have seen them already here in Holland.

It's amazing that even if you did the support slot for The Rolling Stones in stadiums filled with thousands and thousands of people you can fade into complete anonymity after you're done with it, lol.

smile: yikes, if Toots & the Maytalls are in a state of "complete anonymity" then ... then i guess i have some mighty esoteric tastes! :E

enjoy the hell out of the whole show, and be sure to let the Stones know we love 'em

Yeah, I just found out that the Toots & the Maytalls are around for a long time...but nevertheless I haven't heard of them. They're not so popular under the rock where I live ;o)

just for the historical record: it's Toots & the Maytalls (not "the Toots") - Toots Hibbert is the frontman's name.
Keith did a *beautiful* guest turn on Careless Ethiopians on a recent album of theirs - keep your attenae up for that one, it's incredible
