I particularly like the 71/72 versions. The rhythm is just slightly different and I really enjoyed it. Not the best-played version, but the best crowd response has to be Cuba in the Ole! Doc. I saw it in the theatre and the already incredibly loud and enthusiastic crowd somehow took it to another level when Keith started the riff. josh.

marclaff, It's used at American sports games to help 'rally' the home team; we'll all wave them at the same time while we cheer. Usually used when the home team is losing and making a comeback. josh.

It's really not infinite, if you have 12 possible notes and 8 are played in a row that's 429,981,696 (12^8) possible melodies. That includes melodies with the same note in a row eight times; as such, if you require a note change each time you have 233,846,052 (12*11^7) possiblities. This still allows for half step variations (B - C - B etc.). So if you require whole step movements you h

I spent the day in Carlsbad, CA with my parents and, as I usually do, checked a cool local book store called 'Farenheit 451 Books'. I was perusing the music section and checking out the Stones books when I came across two issues of this IORR magazine! The issues were from 1999 & 2001 and each cost $9.95. Josh.

Somewhere in the bigger bang doc or the fan club DVD Mick talks about harmonica. He says that for country tunes you play it in the same key (i.e. C if the song's in C) and on rock tunes you play it in the fifth (i.e. G if the song's in C). Josh
