Quotekeithsman Can't for the life of me work out why old people couldn't stay isolated while the rest of the world goes about their daily business and carry on as normal, keeping the home fires burning . I mean the poor people on the checkouts have to carry on with everyone sneezing and coughing all over them. Over the course of a few weeks people would have beat this virus and built

QuoteFrogSugar QuoteMAF Elton John postponed all dates in the US till 2nd May. Ahhhh, hope for the May 8 show then! We can all pretty much guarantee you that May 8 will not happen.

No one has a crystal ball, this is uncharted waters and hopefully people are taking the social distancing and isolation seriously. This will help slow the spread of the virus and, in turn, save lives. The cancellation of the Rolling Stones tour is a minimal inconvenience in the larger scheme of things. A blip on the larger scheme of life. Is it the end for them? I doubt it. They have defied lo

I think the roof at BC Place is the same roof as the stadium in Frankfurt, which is not good.

If you go back 4 days from the May 24 date on IORR you will have the correct date for Vancouver. Likely that will work for San Diego although there was a rumour about 3 days between those 2 shows.

I have sometimes left during the encore and raced back to see the Stones arrive at their hotel. It is fun and maybe more fun than hearing Satisfaction for the 100th time or the rehearsed bows!

QuoteJeter1984 When will the LDs start? Getting a little late for Burl's Creek, turning into a nightmare for the promoter/venue. It was selling ok before the postponement but it's a near disaster now. Radio stations can only give away so many tickets. I suspected the sales must be bad if Mick posted that photo with the Maple Leaf tongue and Keith did an interview for the Toront

A buddy and I were talking about this the other day. We were wondering why they went back to stadiums after they did the arena tour in 2013. I thought arenas were the way they would end their career but then they went back to stadium tours. Also the Arena in Paris is an indoor stadium by North American standards. Arenas here are at least half the size and used for hockey, basketball etc. Prett

Past tours have always had rumored dates up on this IORR tour list before the tour announcement. Why are there only three this tour? Has everyone at these stadiums been sworn to secrecy? In the past some dates have been incorrect but they were posted nonetheless. This seems very odd.

QuoteThe Joker Quotekeithsman I held onto postponed tickets in 89' for the Urban Jungle tour, and didn't get to use them until the following year, so my Urban Jungle tickets turned out to be Steel Wheels tickets with a Steel Wheel show and stage set Keithsman, could you specify how that worked? You were able to chose another venue? I think he is mistaken/confused. The Urban Jung

Those limited views on the side should be fine. It just means you may not be able to see all of the Jumbotrons above the stage. You will be way closer to the band than 90% of the venue.

On Facebook, someone just posted a picture of a tongue at the Eaton Centre in Toronto that says 06/29/2019 No Filter. Is a show being added?

From Twitter MarieFranceRemillard @MFRemillard ยท The Rolling Stones will be playing at Rogers Centre, Toronto on June 29th. Show announcement on Feb 12th. I wonder if the Blue Jays know as they have a game scheduled that day at Rogers (and the day before and after)?

I am taking my 14 year old. We haven't done a stadium show together yet but I took her to Katy Perry in an arena last year. For the Stones, I purposely got tickets on the side to right of stage, row one in the second tier, so there would be no one in front of us and not the pushing or trying to see over people in the pit. I think it will be great for her to see the Stones and something she w

Let's face it, the weak Canadian dollar is to blame. The Stones want the US $ and that is the main reason no shows in Canada this time. There will not be a second leg so forget about that wishful thinking and get to a show if you want to see them one last time.

Quotetwo4fun111 why do you think most Dippers will be high up? Past experiences, etc? I have bought them a few times and all bad seats. People in Europe had better luck with them that in the US.

Not sure why people think the US pit will be bigger, if anything I think it looks smaller. The entrance in Europe looks about the same as the map for the US pit. Seats surrounding the pit look closer to stage than where the pit extended to in Europe.

I saw something interesting when looking for Jacksonville. When the seating map was loading the GA area at the back of the field had LD on it. I assume Lucky Dip but when the map was fully loaded that LD disappeared and it just said FIELD.

QuoteHairball [I do my best to help the Stones, and I thought I was moving a few $1500 VIP Pit tix Keith's side! VIP Pit includes the possibility of a hand delivered pick from Keith himself ! Maybe at an arena show but Not with the height of this stage or the distance/gap between the stage and the fence for the audience. You may get lucky and get one tossed by him but hand delivery i

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl QuoteJeter1984 For those wondering, with only 16 shows, arenas and Canada doesn't make sense. 16 stadiums allows them to stay healthy and play to almost 1 million people. It generates approximately $100 million in ticket revenue. Ummm... we have stadia in Canada. People too. With credit cards and everything. We use them to carve our igloos. They have big

Quotemosthigh Seems like it's at least 3 days between shows, based on the limited dates posted. That would put Seattle at about Saturday May 18. Not sure what else is going on there that weekend, but hotels sure seem in high demand - but it always seems that way every time I go for a show there, jeez... If that is the date, when they do announce it, it's gonna be a shark tank gett

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotebabyblue Think last two dates will be : Vancouver, BC Toronto, Ont.... I'm going with Vancouver, Philadelphia and Toronto. Bjornulf mentioned that there may be 16 shows.. This would make 15, with an open date to add a second show (dependent on sales) in Chicago, Boston or LA. Don't think there will be Canadian dates.

If they sell seats behind the stage and run speakers the sound will be horrible. I saw U2 when they did that and it was the worst sounding stadium recording I have ever made and I was in the "perfect" spot. It will likely be the stage they used in Europe with the huge screens so no seats behind the stage.
