I left my wife to wait in line for tickets.
if I were the band, I would hold off the announcement and sit back and watch us idiots losing our minds over here. It must be quite entertaining for them to see how the demand builds.

long story She was waiting for Lynyrd Skynyrd tickets and I was waiting for Moody Blues tickets. the concerts were at different venues. 5 months later I bought 1 ticket for Skynyrd with hopes of finding her. I spotted her leaving the venue and got her phone number
I never got a date and gave up
One year later I was buying tickets for The Stones for Rich Stadium during the BTB tour in 97. There she was again buying tickets too. She was about 10 people behind me.
I tried again, and did get to take her to dinner the following week.
We got married in 2003 and have the best life with her. She my Stones buddy for life. True story.

Past tours have always had rumored dates up on this IORR tour list before the tour announcement. Why are there only three this tour? Has everyone at these stadiums been sworn to secrecy? In the past some dates have been incorrect but they were posted nonetheless. This seems very odd.
