I gotta say that this tour has the weirdest ways to get tix. A very long way from every other kid at my high schoool rushing to the "Fidelity Lane" ticket outlet in Seattle 1981, KISW announced tix at like 8 AM, And we stuffed 6 of us in my pals mom's Mazda. Getting those tix in our hands, such a rush. Am I in the minority when I say I HATE reserved seating? Anyway, have seen o

That's great to hear! WHERE did you hear it? If anybody wants to get a couple of cheap seats with a local, than I am yer man. Believe me, down front is full of boorish casino comped pricks. But I have been able to get down to front row for the last half both gigs of the Licks tour when they decided to get back to their hookers and coke... I miss NYC crowds!

Works for me. Known, but not a warhorse. If they need to, they could add some front end soundtrack, like Voodoo's "Not Fade Away". But I would like to hear it played simple and hard...

Was at Kohl's yesterday (big low end department store in here in the U.S.) Had a sad laugh at the toungue baseball hats, lounge pants and even very poorly made "flip-flop" sandals on sale. "Rockwear" Co. must be going behind Michael Cohl's back to make some extra cash. But check it out. As they say, "Never pay department store prices again!"

Sorry,I meant FRI 11/18 and SAT 11/19. I really hope they don't decide to do the Hard Rock rather than the MGM. Could just barely afford the 2 shows last time at MGM, and was pretty appalled at the prices for the Hard Rock show. Not to mention the bad reviews I heard for it. Sure didn't sound like an uplifting vibe. But I am spoiled, I was thisclose for the MTV show back in Po

Hey, According to the gossip "Norm" in the Review-Journal, we get an MGMGrand show Friday, Nov 19- AND a Hard Rock (The Joint) show Saturday, Nov 20. Back to back shows? I won't believe it till I see the $1500 tickets for The Joint. BTW, this gossip columnist is often wrong!

This "Fan Club" business is just insanity. For the amount of money they are asking, I would demand a made to order 5.1, THX DVD of the show that you are literally an investor in. Gawd, I miss General Admission seating...

Listen to "Waiting on a Friend" from the "B2B" tour, Guitars are buried, Chuck pissing muzak tinklings for the driving melody, Just a gutless and soulless arrangement. The same thing happened to "Let's Spend...". The "Tattoo You" tours blow these versions out of the water. Seems like things got better on the "Licks" tours, Which I credit

Second that thought absolutly. Bring up the guitars in the mix, and get a feel like the '78 tour. I know that there were some bad performances that year, at least they were really playing. But when I listen to the Passaiac theater boot- That's what I hope for.

The main problem I have the warhorses is they just play 'em too long. 1. HTW: Chuck (or whoever's) extendo solo, and the tacked on extra choruses. 2. Brown Sugar, How many "Yeah, Yeah, Woo's" to bore a crowd? Seen and felt it almost every time. 3. YCAGWYW: See above.. 4. IORR: same again... 5. JJF: My favorite song in the world, the lyrics are my senior class quo

My personal fave is "Bloody Night in Seattle, '81" because it was my very first show(s), Oct. 14, 15. It is so named cause a girl fell from one of the outside Kingdome ramps to her death on the 2nd night. Sad. Also have a poor quality VHS boot, taken from the Spectravision big screen feed. Better than having just a concert stub.

Agree here. I am gonna try hoping for day of show desparate scalpers for the first time. But this is gonna make for some sleepless nights between now and then. 2 $350 shows last time put me over my Visa limit! Just can't afford it. How about sliding scale, like at a Free Clinic, Keith?

Anyone else own the 4 CD box called "Hot Stuff Vol 1, Live"? Quality ranges from fair to excellent. But it's a great history from Hyde Park '69 to RFK '94. There is a "Vol. 2, Studio" that I have been looking for years. The Label is the now defunct "Great Dane" But I also say "Handsome Girls" is super.

I thought JJF for Hartford on the No Security tour was great. Mick was wearing Brian Jones style bubbble sunglasses, looked cool, real sleek and sinewy without the Prince style waistcoat. Best thing was the version sounded almost like '69 again. Real tight and short. It was great to hear the soul of the song again. How about "Respectable"? might deflect animosity over s

All points taken, Mark. Vancouver is actually the one place I would like to live- growing up in Seattle, we were always envious of it's culture and great food. I believe I can remember seeing the late, great Divine herself at a wicked funky club called Faces. I think we snuck 8 in a room at the Granville Island Hotel for that roadtrip. But I digress, I think I remember paying about

I love the Stones more than life itself, seen 'em coast to coast since I was old enough to Rock, 1981. That's what makes this price gouging hurt even more. I don't want to be told that a big part of my life is a luxury.

Well, I do know that you guys do make less in a straight comparison to USD. (And yet a higher standard of living, but that is a different conversation...) My main point is that there is a HUGE discrepency between $299 CAD and $450 USD, Can somebody else do that math? I seem to have had a U.S. education. Ottawa and Calgary are not like doing shows in Mexico City or Rio. It seems pretty wack

Hey, Not sure if this one has been brought up, but why the f*ck would Ottowa top out at $299, and Calgary at $350? CANADIAN! CAD is at 78 cents USD, so that's almost a 25% discount on top of considerably lower pricing. Is this to save Michael Cohl from getting trashed in his home country? Maybe I should take a quick holiday up to Vancouver for the show to try to justify being rippe

Wow, Seattle AND Portland. Here's hoping that Vancouver gets it fair share. Some strange dates, if this correct. Fresno? Pittsburgh and Hershey? and Philly? Only Dallas for Texas? Where is Indy, or New Orleans, Memphis, or Las Vegas? I hope this not the complete list!

Looking over the Tour calender so far, there are a hell of a lot of empty days. What shows are filling them? Do we think any multiple shows will happen? I am kinda surprised that the ratio of Football stadiums seems so high. 1 show at Angels? Soldier Field? I remember last time at Giants the were some empty seats. We have Sam Boyd Stadium here in Las Vegas, or maybe it will be the MGMGrand G

Gold Card (if ya got one): Go to Ticketmaster site, in the Gold Card password box type the 10 digit cust. service number, 8003272177. It will take you to that anti- spamimg word screen, and then look for tix. I tried Fenway, and seemed like G.C. tix were gone by 3:15 PM. I assume that the billing screen is where they apply G.C. qualification. The plus is that they seem to be offering all pr

The Question from the BBC should been calling them on the floor for $400 Tickets. Keith was pissed off about the subject of money, since that is usually his reaction to criticism. I will be nosebleeding this tour....
