To be able to enter the area to choose your seat before 'paying membership'....

You have to:

a) already be a member since last year (and therefore already paid for membership).

b) have paid-up for a hot-seat package

c) Have a Am Ex Gold card AND special code

d) Have ordinary Am EX card.

I chose option d) - (having selected 2 tickets at 'Any Price') - I was told none were available.

This was for Fenway. Is it such a small venue?

Anyway, probably easier to have bought a code in advance.


Glad I'm not an american who is desperate for some good tix.


At least we'll know the score by the time this game comes to Europe.

Membership at Rollingstones.com is for 1 year. Will you be able to buy pre-sale-tickets, for a (possible) theatre show in Holland, within 1 year?
And is it possible to join for another year, when the membership is due?

Gold Card (if ya got one): Go to Ticketmaster site, in the Gold Card password box type the 10 digit cust. service number, 8003272177. It will take you to that
anti- spamimg word screen, and then look for tix. I tried Fenway, and seemed like G.C. tix were gone by 3:15 PM. I assume that the billing screen is where they apply G.C. qualification. The plus is that they seem to be offering all price levels, but if they really have more than 1 pair to offer is a good question.

AMEX! Oops, forgot to say that it's AMEX Gold Card. Another plus, there is no $100 dollar fan club membership crap.

No fan club fee if you have an AMEX Gold card?
