Yondr pouches that prevent phone use in the venue are becoming extremely common. They’ve moved to use in large arenas as well. Dave Chappelle’s recent arena shows all had them — 20,000 people had to lock their phones in them.

Guys I want to tell all of you right now, if you’re in NYC don’t give up on getting in tonight. At the Wiltern in 2002 and the Phoenix in 2005 they ended up letting more people in right around showtime when half of the VIPs didn’t show up. At the Phoenix they had already started and they still let tons of fans in. My advice is never give up.

Quotejshidoob QuoteWoz Racket NYC El Rey Theatre LA Capacity: 771 (2013 gig) Racket NYC Capacity: 650 Not sure if your sources have confirmed Racket as the selected venue, but would love is the venue were slightly bigger to allow some lucky fans to get in. Brooklyn Steel is another AEG venues and fits 1,800 I’m sure this has been mentioned but the Stones club gig in 2013 was at the Echopl

Quotebye bye johnny On today's show, Howard Stern mentioned being invited to an upcoming "promotional event" in NYC. Howard declined the invitation, but his producer Gary Dell'Abate will be there. That’s about as definitive as it gets.

Webster would have been my first pick but if there is already an event, some other AEG owned venues are: RACKET NYC 431 West 16th Street New York, NY MUSIC HALL OF WILLIAMSBURG 66 North 6th St. New York, NY TERMINAL 5 610 West 56th St. New York, NY

Since the Stones are promoted by AEG they are likely going to play one of their venues. There is no way they play a Live Nation venue. That being said my guess is either Terminal 5 or Webster Hall. If I had to go with one, it would be Webster Hall.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks QuoteCooltoplady I lot of hate on this board. Why start a post because you don’t like a song? I thought the same thing. People start a post because they hate a song. Go figure. Again, I’m not seeing this person who used the word “hate” —- I can’t think of any Stones song I actually “hate.” Hell, I can’t think of any song in the history of popular music where I’d describe “

Hairball, I’d be with you on this but YGMR has been played way more times than either of those songs. YGMR, 450 Streets of Love, 38 Don’t Stop, 105 So yeah, I’m going to stick with YGMR as the biggest waste of space.

“Yeah, so I don’t get it, I mean, it’s not really The Rolling Stones anymore” Not sure what that even means. Frankly, I could give a shit what they call themselves. With all due respect to Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Ian Stewart, Brian Jones and Bobby Keys — The Rolling Stones are Mick & Keith. Just like when push comes to shove The Who is Pete & Roger, Zeppelin is Page & Plant, and T
