QuotePaddy Quotegrzegorz67 Very good performance by all accounts but no discernible interaction between the brothers on stage. They seem to be keeping it strictly professional. There never was much interaction between them back in the days. The odd bit of aggro maybe! My friends at the Cardiff show said they touched once during Champagne Supernova, and then during the bow. Playing it safe!

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteAquamarine My copy arrived today. I've been putting off listening to the whole album till I could listen on vinyl, as God intended. Huracán told me to get the CD. Considering the last 10 years or so in SE LA, I will ignore God, as usual, and listen to Huracán... and listen to The Rolling Stones, Sonny Landreth, Taj Mahal and the best of the entire album: Shan

A number of those people look strangely AI . . . Regarding Keith, doesn't he still rotate his residence between the US, Jamaica, and Turks and Caicos?

That's a great lineup. Seems they could involve Jesse Malin somehow, though.

I would have given anything for this to be true. If anyone could solve the Malden Meat Hook Murders, it would be Charlie.

Tbh, no Miracles cover would be my favorite because you can't better Smokey Robinson IMO. And they do pretty much the same arrangements, so it's not like bands reinterpret a song.

Patti is looking great! Pretty good show tonight, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the music special Friday. (Which would have been even better if Keith had been in it.)

Glad to see a lot of these folks nominated. My picks would be The White Stripes, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker, though I'm guessing Oasis will get the nod.

QuoteStoneage I think there is a difference between a club show and a stadium dito. What's the point building a huge stage with big screens and then play for 45 minutes? I agree, but I think that's part of the point he's making. He doesn't play stadiums, have huge stage sets, etc., that's not the kind of show he plays. He plays smaller very intense shows that always lea

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteBitchKeepsBitchin So happy the Stones won a grammy for Hackney Diamonds - I listened to it again today just to remind myself how great it really is~ and the song "Rolling Stone Blues" featuring MICK, Keef & Ronnie is the cherry on top! That sealed the deal, for sure! Well, my mother told my father just before I, I was born She said, "Got a boy child

I went to the source of most of these, TMR London's Instagram account, and none of the kids are tagged (unlike Ronnie and co., though we know it's Ronnie because he's got his name on his scarf). So I can't help either! But Sporty Spice was there!

Third Man Records in London held a celebration last night for the release of Ringo Starr’s upcoming album Look Up. Ronnie and Sally were there in addition to Jimmy Page, Jools Holland, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Bob Geldof . . . Pics at the @thirdmanrecords and @thirdmanlondon accounts on Instagram (which I’m having problems uploading). Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour & Ronni

Quotestonesurvive QuoteAquamarine Surprised there's not more commentary on this, tbh, although I know the awards often mean more to the artists than they do to us. That's a strong list, there, and my guess is that they have a good shot. Apart from anything else I think the voters might want to give them what might be one last shot at an award. (My vote is still going to No Name, though.

I first saw her in the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, she had amazing longevity as an actress. And was super-cool till the very end. She was also wonderful in Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van.
