So sorry I couldn't be there! This weekend is an amazing time to be in the UK for music. (Which I'm not. ) P.S. Parachute Woman was awesome.

I love Lego (and have several sets associated with bands I like), and depending on price will probably spring for this one, too. I love the chair in the pic even more, though.

I was in Nashville when this news broke, and there were some beautiful tributes outside the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Of all of those (non-Stones) who left us too early, I miss him most and wonder how much more he could have achieved. Paul Kossoff close second.

QuoteNashvilleBlues Quotetreaclefingers QuoteMore Hot Rocks Listening to jack White talk about music is like listening to Danny Partridge talk about bass playing. I'm not sure that I agree, but I will say that was an amazing bitch slap. MHR will not be allowed to attend the Oscars for ten years now. Fun fact: Mick Jagger went bowling with Jack White and Death From Above 1979 after DFA

My favorite artist, just saw him Friday (when he proposed and got married onstage) and Saturday in Detroit with many more shows to come, and his new album is amazing. There's another one in a more acoustic vein due later this year. (And as for being relevant, his vinyl sales have broken records and he recently had the #1 digital single.) In this article he's explaining, not insulting

Quotesnoopy2 Have stayed in quite a few airbnbs in the U.S. in the past, no more tho, we're done with them. Many/most add on ridiculously high cleaning fees on top of telling you you have to clean the place before you leave, and the additional rules can get strange as well, the pendulum has swung as we've found hotels end up cheaper with fewer rules, and way easier to deal with overa

Stop the presses, St Vincent is opening for them in the US. This has now become a must-see show. (And the fact she’s opening for them and not vice versa says something about their status.)

Roxy Music were huge when I was in college in the UK, my friends and I all loved them! I would definitely love to see them on this tour, probably in Dallas.

QuoteThe Sicilian There were multiple drugs found in the room where Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died, according to a report out of Colombia which cited official sources. “Colombian authorities found: marijuana, antidepressants, opioids, heroin. At least 10 different substances found,” tweeted journalist Luis Carlos Velez on Saturday afternoon, citing Fiscalia Colombia, the national att

QuoteMilan IORR user "Aquamarine"; AND she saw Dylan at the RAH '66, which was of course coolest Dylan ever... I did, thanks for remembering! Stones also at the RAH in 1966, what I remember most is how gleeful Brian looked when girls invaded the stage. What a night, though!

Quoteartedm If RAH holds 5272 Wow. I went to several shows there in the 60s and 70s, including Dylan and the Stones' 1966 shows, and remember it as being huge! I guess I was smaller then.

Quotebv QuoteThe Sicilian What does the "Norge" on Norway's hats mean? Is it just Norway in Norwegian? Yes. Norge is the name of our country in Norwegian. So is Noreg Norway in Swedish? I don't really understand the time difference issue with regard to the US, many of the most popular events are in prime time here, such as ice skating, and assorted skiing events. P

Rachel was the best. And what makes this extra-tragic is it happened on her bandmate Mary's birthday--the only two founding members of the Cobras. Mink, Rat or Rabbit, and Life, Love and Leaving are terrific albums, rereleased a few years ago, and the band was killer live. RIP Rachel, truly one-of-a-kind.

They say it cost on average $50,000 for the company if an employee get hospitalized with covid-19, so it makes sense. Also, it is probably a better solution than the United Airlines way, they fired non-vaccinated. There is a lot of anger vs non-vaccinated, a
