I was trying to find Hubert Sumlin's "Them Shoes" that featured my hometown musician Jim Liban on harmonica but couldn't find it. He's rated 1 of the top in the world and respected by many blues musicians so I wanted to share him with you all. Here's an old one by him to give you a idea of his talents:
Who's the other musicians? I recognize Bobby Keys (the guy makes it around, huh?) Is the keyboardist/backing vocalist Ian McLagan? Can't tell, but that style sure sounds familiar. Bassist? No idea.
This is SO cool, and historic. Thanks for the link. Folks -- better save this one before it disappears.
