FINALLY a longer version of the Rockers 80 interview!

Anyone know of the second part being around? Or even the full show?

The legend is that this interview happpened in the wee small hours of the night. Chin had been pursuing an interview with Mick and Keith for a while, so the pair called him at some ungodly hour telling him if he wanted his interview he could have it - right now.

Thanks, roryfaninva. I share a birthday with John Lee Hooker...the closest I'll ever get to the blues.

This one is good, too.

Has anyone here ever tried this on their own?

An amazing reporter and, obviously, a Rolling Stones fan. Listen to his first line. Godspeed to Miles O'Brien.

I was living up in that neck of the woods at the time, about an hour's drive to the north. But since I was 15 and couldn't drive, I couldn't go and I also didn't know anyone at school who would be going either. It was at the Carrier Dome, a place more suited to sporting events, so perhaps I didn't miss anything after all, as they had no video monitors above the stage for those seated miles away in the rafters.

I do recall that night's local television news reports where fans old and young were being interviewed outside the venue after the show. One in particular that sticks in my mind is a teenage girl being interviewed. She commented "Their older stuff is better" and that Mick Jagger moves pretty good "for an old guy".
