"Unfortunately,the latest is that due to unforeseen circumstances, the consultant in charge of looking after Terry and his voice has changed the appointment time so now Terry wont be seen til 2pm and not 1pm.

The band and crew are all reporting to work as if things are going ahead.

This is totally out of the bands hands but wont ease the worry of travellers attending tonights proposed gig.Stay calm and keep positive.

We dont want you setting out without news and for some of you ,you have had to leave early which is a absolute wrencher when you dont know whats happening.Our hearts go out to you but please understand that we as the admin will do all we can as soon as we can to keep you up to speed.

i've never seen, Downstairs, at the Academy, so packed Nanker.

I know for a fact, people with upstairs tickets, were getting past security,
to get through to the downstairs stalls. I saw it with my own eyes, and heard them discussing it afterwards.
It was close to dangerously packed, imho.
Having said that everyone was well humoured and in great spirits
(not always the case with 4000 skinheads, in my experience).
A night to remember- you'll have a blast.

I'm glad there seats, I dont think i could last a stand up gig, never mind a packed floor at the BA, its tiring there at the best of times, the steepest floor I've stood on.

Im just sweating/waiting for confirmation of tickets for coventry, which should be a fantastci occaison and in a more modern hall/venue, so hopefully i will be able to stand towards the back of the arena in comfort.

i was middle, left...made my way towards the back for the encore.
what did you think of the merch?

I find the best place at The Brixton A is either stage front left or right, by the toilets. stood there for both the Pogues, And Pixies which were both heaving and had a rather fine undisturbed time. easy access to toilets as well if you choose the right side. role on saturday week, although no Vic line.

Merch was great - got a bit too much (got carried away by the occasion, you know?). Going again on Tuesday. You can still get tickets for upstairs, which is where a lot of people seem to have retreated after getting a battering at the front. I really hope they a). continue (Terry seems to only stick at something for a couple of years before moving on) and b). manage to persuade/invite Dammers to rejoin (although there is a lot of friction between him and the former Funboys). Can't imagine b). will happen though.

I've heard that the plans are to extend the tour well into 2010 (another UK go around, and a US tour), with a farewell performance at Glastonbury. No recording though. And definitely no Dammers. He's ruled himself out of the equation.

Never knew - until quite recently - that Terry Hall had had so many problems.
