Mick standing just like Elvis... I always liked this cover but thought that Bowie's DIAMOND DOGS by Pellaert was even better. Try and scan that one if you have it Schillid. The original album is sans genitals (on the dog body) but I think the CD comes with - such a treat - LOL !!! (actually it's more realistic since it IS a male dog). Remember at the time it was SUCH a big deal. No world wide financial collapse to worry about in those days I guess so a dogs genitalia makes a good substitute - LOL crazy effing planet)

I like his art and love his album covers...

IMO, sometimes the heads of the famous people appear a little too "pasted on"...
perspective-wise, anatomy-wise, stylistically... that is part of the charm of his paintings though for me.

Surely one of their greatest covers.

Standing on Stairs with a harem of woman at their feet...definitely stole it from the STONES! If you flip that album cover over...same thing in the back...Stairs and everybody is gone.

I have a lithograph of IORNR, in a limited edition of 16/75, signed in pencil by all five Stones, including Mick Taylor. Keith's signature reads "Richard", without the "s".
I purchased the artwork on the Kings Road in London in '74. It's one of my prize possessions.

about 7 years ago while visiting east Berlin, I found a copy of this IORR lp ....a south american release....the cover was the same except for the STONES logo printed at the top/center of the lp...the logo was the exact replica of the BACK cover logo...STONES with curvy lettering/devil tail....printed at the lower right corner was 'STEREO'...anyone seen a copy of this ?....never seen one since....Peter

Well, KISS has confessed to listening, and being inspired by the Stones.
They even did a very good cover of 2000 Man with Ace singing his heart out, very good stuff.

It's an Epson 1660... nothing special.

What is very special is Photoshop CS3's automatic Photomerge feature.
When the document is too big (the scanner glass is 8½" x 14''), it has to be scanned in sections, but photomerge automatically assembles the pieces fast. If only I had used it for those ATTIC scans...

I am getting a pink line in the scans... you might notice.
I will have to buy a new scanner for my real work.
