Live in Jakarta the land of pirated DVD's and CDs... Recently got the final season of Battlestar Galactaca. Great!!! Also the first season of Burn Notice, which is also great. Both full seasons for four dollars! LOL
Music, last thing I bought was Black Sabbath Black Box. Also very cool.
Mink DeVille "Live at Montreux" DVD. Nice DVD, I've always liked Willy DeVille. A true american troubador. He can rock with the best of them or croon "Stand by Me" to perfection. Way more popular in Europe than the States. Got to love "Cadillac Walk" on this DVD, they really burn it up, not a bad slide guitar by the Willy either. He's on up in age now and has had a hip replacement. Can't keep a good Cajun down though, he's still at it.

as i noted earlier ,i bought elton john live at the red piano in las vegas dvd/cd.well i played the cd and i am happy to reprt that i quite enjoyed it a lot .great songs , the band sounds awesome and elton voice was fine .i recomend this very highly .,elton told a lot of good stories in between the songs .
Although i have to say that I felt the album was a bit of a letdown, for my money not as good as their last effort Stiff upper Lip, oh well, gat a ticket to see 'em in Birmingham, and thats gonna rock like a MOFO.
DVD: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Live From Steel Town,
Got the 'Lyve' DVD from the vicious circle tour a few weeks back and it blew my socks off, all of my mates agree, hasn't left the DVD player much so I thought I'd go for another, if it's half as good as 'Lyve' then it should be a goody!
I bought the Aerosmith's Big Ones the last week. I used to love it when I was at the grammar school some 15 years ago and haven't heard it since then (I used to have it on a tape). And I found it in one shop for a very nice price, so I bought it and well, it is still great I have to say!
Today I received Grateful Dead´s "Road Trips Vol 1,No.4 - From Egypt with Love"
It´s much better than the "Rocking the cradle-Egypt 1978" release.
Got my mojo working or Not fade away with Cipollina are incredible amongst others.Haven´t heard the included Bonus disc so far.
As this package is only available via deadnet.com you could take a chance.
And yes I know that some of us regard them as boring, that´s what I thought before getting in touch a bit deeper, but that´s another thread.
By the way : I would really love to see a similar concept,or at least any efforts by the Stones (camp) ,to build up such a site including huge amount of interesting stuff. But that´s another thread again...
