I'm with you Matt.
Here's a couple of items:

Official poster

Heavy board stock

Supposedly rare Dell Magazine

Hanging out before the afternoon show behind the Spectrum with Stan the stage security guy for the tour and Ollie Brown. Stan gave me the upper level ticket pictured. Before I went in I shouted to Ollie, "yo Ollie, how 'bout a smile", and this is what I got!

That's me for shows 1 and 3!

The 72 Tour Press kit.

Here's page one, I hope it's readable.

TT, congratulations on the Promotional Album. I got my copy abut 4 years back. The feeling of finally having the RSD-1 in your hands cannot be described, you just have to ecperiance it your self. I had been dreaming about the Stones Holy Grail for like 20+ years and then sudenly I was keeping one copy in my hands.. The feeling cannot be described, you just need to get one copy of your own to be able to get the feeling
Well, I'm not collecting US stuff so I still need a RSM-1, for you who do not collect vinyls, that would be the UK Decca version on The Rolling Stones album issued in the fall of -69

rarest club issue of a Stones record - pressed exclusively for the "Canadian Record Club" (look exactly to the picture and compare it with the normal issue w/ or w/out 3D, Mick is shown with his arms across his chest)

Can Anyone Give Me Info On This?

i bought this poster for my mom back in the early 80's from a small record store outside of Boston. She is a huge Jagger fan and when i was 12 years old thought this would make her so happy and boy was i right. It is about 6 feet tall by 28 inches wide. She had it framed a few years later and hung it proudly in her office. She asked me recently what was the history of the poster and i tried to look it up online but could not find any info anywhere.

Does anyone know anything about this? Was a just a random poster? Does it have any value? It's even more odd i can not find one anywhere online. Hopefully someone here knows something about it.

thanks!

thanks for your info.... yea, i thought that was the case from searching online... i think the pic was from a Rolling Stone's magazine shoot... and Marshall did the photos. Just odd that i can't find this exact pic online anywhere. I have spent HOURS browsing poster sites, collector's site's and fan sites but have never seen this picture anywhere.

I should have mentioned in my original post that i felt is was a Marshall pic, so thanks for you validating that.

Sad thing is my mom had it professionally framed... and the framer told my mom something was written on the back but couldn't quite make it out... don;t know if it was important or not, but now that it's all matted and framed it's too late to see what it said!

If you stumble across anything, let me know!

Thanks so much!

;-)

Since July 30th: Proud owner of the very first LP release by
the Stones, with 1a matrix (both sides) and the short demo version
of TELL ME (2.52 min.). Still trembling, because the seller
sent it inside a thin cardboard via airmail. But it survived smiling bouncing smiley

The latest addition to my collection:

As per an UK music magazine from November of 1969 there were two dozens of them signed by the band and given away to people that had helped them in some way. These signed albums did not have the Decca letter, the poster or the LIB booklet.

Would be nice to know if there are more copies in IORR readers collections. In that case it would be nice to get a mail or two:
