QUESTION:

anybody here owns an original 1967 German Tour Poster?

I need to know how is the paper; is it opaque or shiny (laminated like?) - don't know the exact translation in english. -

There's any mark to detect a 1967 german poster from a late photocopy?

Just to understand if I received my 'n' counterfait.

I don't have a 67 one although I do have a 65 one. The paper is very unlikely to be shiney. You should be able to see/feel the impression of the ink. Be cautious of super clean, shiney white backed posters. If you didn't pay much for it then it is unlikely to be real unless you robbed a granny for it! Email me some close pics and I will give you my opinion as much as one can offer an opinion on a poster from some pictures.

I asked confirmation if it was a repro but you can see the reply in the bottom page. Yes, went out too cheap but we participated in 8 bidders only.

P.S.: In the meantime I received confirmation from a collector that the size corresponds exactly.

Very difficult to tell from the images. If it is real the black text printing will look like ink on paper (like a potato printing) you will be able to feel / see the thick sticky ink that was press on. You could have just bought the world's cheapest 67 Stones concert poster but there are so many repro's of these German ones and getting something cheap doesn't make it fake but very few genuine vintage items sell ever get bought cheap.

Tks Matt, just checked. The pix of Jagger is ruvid (potato skin like) and so the black parts of the other pix; the black writings no. I would say that the backside is going to yellowish.
Anyway, I will frame it and hang to my wall.

For the age d'or serie, it begins to be very difficult even in FRANCE,
to find the whole set, most of the time, the picture sleeves are not in good shape
I had the luck to buy for 100 euros, 19 of these sp's in NM condition.
To complete the rest it took me 2 years, and i live in FRANCE, but i wanted to have only NM condition.
The rarest # are the 11-12-13-16-19 & 22-23
You must also take care of the records, because both were pressed in FRANCE and in BELGIUM, with the same picture sleeves!
So you could have in the age d'or serie RECORDS from France and also BELGIUM!

For the age d'or sp's 3-4-10-14 are not hard to find!
22 is the rarest !!!
23 is also difficult to find in good shape!

A guy from Texas that sell a lot of acetates, but he had only 2 of the stones.
Do you know from witch country are the white label acetate? I think not from the UK.

I spoke to my friend about these, and we both conclude that most likely the White labels are from Australia. Blue label, UK.

Just got this on ebay .

There are 7 issues of the In Sound serie with Stones stuff inside: 3 with Brian interview, 1 with Mick, 1 with Keith and other two with Mick and Keith together.
They were all issued between 66 and 68. I have some of them but they are not high priced. You can find them on ebay quite often.

But in Europe, you never seen those records, as far as i remembered.
I'm really often on EBAY, and i didn't noticed those records.
