I don't like either but I'd go with Aguilera cause for some reason I can't stand Winehouse. Her voice is really annoying to me.

... do i have to "prefer" either of them? i was real sorry that Amy didn't see fit to rehearse that thing,
and sorry there were any guests other than Buddy Guy in Shine a Light. but Christina did what she was there to do,
and Amy didn't. which was too bad, because she should have been great.

(i "prefer" Aguilera to Sheryl Crow too - i know Sheryl's got "cred", but i don't like her voice, sorry)

Amy Winehouse is better (great voice), but she f... ATPTB up. Sadly... And Christina sung very strong. So I like both, but I'd say Bonnie Raitt in SAL is the best

Bonnie Raitt in SAL? You mean the Biggest Bang. And I think that was a rather boring performance. She should have had a guitar!

Buddy Guy is the best guest performance from the last couple of years by far. I've always hated Dave Matthews. He's just a complete idiot to me. He ruined great songs. Let It Bleed recently, Memory Motel, Wild Horses..

John Lee Hooker and Eric Clapton doing a guest appearance. TOGETHER. With Bill Wyman.. those were the days!!

Now we need to have Christina Aguilera? She's a good singer, sure, but it hasn't got anything to do with the Stones. And that CAN be very refreshing, a different genre and all but.. it was like banana and coffee. Both are enjoyable (I think the Stones would be the coffee) but together they make me sick.

Yeah, Buddy Guy is the best male-duet in recent years. But, for his plus... It's new song! It's not the same to hear "Champagne & Reefer" by Stones than, let's say, Back Of My Hand (which would also be great anyway ).

I prefer Amy's voice, she sings rather than screams every word. But yeah, it would have been much nicer if she actually knew the song better.

I was there at IOW and Amy was great to see live and it doesn't come across on the video like it did at the time. She obviously doesn't really know the words but I can honestly say that noone in the audience cared that night.

I didn't see Christina with them and I know she has a great voice and works hard, but that's not all of the equation. Call me weird, but I like an edge of danger to my rock n roll and Amy beats Christina hands down...

Which you wouldn't expect from someone who's trying to be all Motown. And she doesn't know which way to go in a classic Temptations-song...

Amy shakes the lyrics a bit, but I think she has got the
soul you need for this track.

Christina did a great job! Best thing the poptart has done to date. And she's not bad looking either.

If I heard the audio of just Winehouses voice, I dont think I could tell that was even ATPTB.

with Live with me, Christina really sings that song.

amy Winehouse is a train wreck. Sorry Amy fans, she looks and acts like an idiot.

I much prefer Cristina over the Winehouse. Better singing, knows the words, and has a stage presence. That performance with Amy Winehouse has always made my skin crawl even though I have enjoyed her music. She just seems so out of touch and has no connection with Jagger except when she drops to her knees in front of him near the begining of the song as if to say "please let me out of this". The rest of the song she fumbles with the words and tip toes around like she has to pee, all the while staring blankly into space. Shame a talent is going to WASTE(D).

Winehouse, because I think its a better performance. I cant stand Aguilaras screeching.

Watching the Winehouse performance I think it's Mick actually who's having a hard time! He seems a tad bewildered by her behaviour.

I prefer her over Christina but Christina is way hotter.

Winehouse´s vocal range consists of two-three notes which she manages to sing with extremely bad timing. Hilariously bad performance.

Amy has more soul in her little finger than Christina has in her entire body. She is also smarter, sexier and more exciting. What I liked most about her IOW performance was that it shook Mick up. I suspect he would have prefered another boring performance of Honky Tonk Women with Sheryl Crow. Whether it was drink, drugs, nerves you can not judge Amy on that one performance. Likewise you cannot judge Christina on her terrible performance of Live With Me. You need only look at her whole career to date to come to that conclusion.

i saw amy live and it didnt really matter that she had no clue of the words or where she was & what she was doing because everyone was enjoying the show but when you watch them back its a bit like watching a car crash,

christina did a much better job & is a better singer, she just needs to do less of the american idol type screaming and sing normally

yes, but we've been asked to judge these particular performances, not the performers' whole careers.
i too "prefer" the idea of Amy, but that particular performance was ... not the way to go.

Christina! Amy didn't know the song at all, and was wasted.
