Nothing different than what's already been posted, but Taylor's work on Sway and Time Waits For No One are my favorites.

"Time Waits For No One" is great and don't forget "Time Is On My Side".

"No Anchovies, Please"

I love Keith's two solos in the studio version of Wild Horses. Tie You Up is great as well. Also Keith's little slide solo/jam in Monkey Man is great.

How about MT on all those 72/3 Boots ..... Street Fighting Man, blinding.

Abso-freaking-lutely; which is why it's a SHAME nothing's been officially released from those tours (I prefer the setlist for '73, but prefer Hopkins' playing to Preston's - but we're talking guitar solos here).

Brian - Long, Long While
Mick T. - Time Waits For No One
Woody - Respectable
Jimmy Page - One Hit winking smiley

I also have a sofft spot for Woody's solo on YGAGWYW on Love you Live - It's beautiflly ragged - the highlight of the entire first disc for me.

There is something in Route66 so´ng in the El Mocambo session that is unexplainable. I don't like like the song.
But the performance, the tightness of the band and Preston on the piano that evening is something really special. EXCELLENT !

That's EXACTLY what I mean in LYL's YGAGWYW!

I think the solo on Sister M. is from Keith!?! Cooder playin acoustic.

The solos in Honky T. Woman,SFTD and Gimme Shelter are simple but made me shiver in those days as a youth!

All Taylors solo stuff on S.Fingers, Exile and G.H. Soup is great!
Some good solos on the Guitarist hunt album B. & Blue.

And some of the best Stones "lead weaving" from Keith and Ron on E. Rescue and Dirty Work! (Sent it to me,Where the boys go,Fight,Dirty Work . .+ the middle part in Hey Negrita!)

yeah, the dirty work solo is f fantastic. She was hot got great guitar parts to...but theres a lot of em around.I think its something spesial with sympathy, gimme shelter and honky tonk. They are simple and ingenious like some of his best riffs. Couldn imagine the songs without em

I'm pretty sure that's Ry Cooder on slide there, not Keith.

@jfd
Some misunderstanding here!
I was talking of the electric solo! Cooder played slide, right!

Cooder played electric slide guitar, Keith acoustic only. The solo is slide and obviously electric.

Hmmm,

The best guitar solo in a song I ever heard up to then, was when I listened to Get Year Ya Yas Out for the first time in Sympathy For The Devil!
The 2 soli that were in this particular live version simply struck me down from the first minutes I listened to them and they have ever since!
The Sympathy solo on the studio version of Beggar's Banquet is marvellous, too.

I also love the solo in Love In Vain on the Ya Yas CD.

And Hand Of Fate is one of my favourite soli as well. An outstanding lead guitar!

I always had a passion for the one on Sister Morphine, it's soooo beautiful and makes my heart burstin' whenever I listen to the song.

My favourite solo of the virtuoso, Mick Taylor, would be on Times Waits For Noone! It's heartbreaking!

Uuh, I mixed that up!
That happens when you write from memory only without listening again (or looking at the booklet . .).

Of course you guitarplayers should know.
I had in mind that the solo was an electric guitar overdub from Keith. Wrong!

Ronnie? Isn't it Mick playing the solo in Streets Of Love? Not that I've heard it more than once...
According to "timeisonourside.com":
Electric guitars: Keith Richards & Ron Wood (incl. solo)

Hmmm...I won't listen to Streets Of Love to check it out...once is more than enough - but I can't believe Ronnie is responsible for that horrible one-finger-solo.
