Jeff Goldblum & Mercedes Ruehl

went to see them in the West End production of
Neil Simon's 'Prisoner Of Second Avenue', the other night,
and was fortunate to meet them both before the show.

Met Adam Sandler last night outside my favourite boozer here in Dublin - himself, Chris Rock, and the others are in town for the big movie premiere!

Met Ronnie Wood for the 2nd time a few weeks ago, same street as Sandler last night^ They all seem to hang out here

bumped into Jessica Alba at the Gap...literally, as in we 'bumped' at the clothes rack.

Also, had drinx with John Candy...that guy was very cool and very funny.

I asked him to do his 'Johnny LaRue laff'...he said, "That cheap laff? Joe Flaherty always used to make me do that!"

He then did the laff. He was a great comic actor...RIP

aw - i loved him! Ever see him do Roy's Food Repair. So cute.

Jessica Alba is one of the few ladies on this Earth that I would like to "bump" into. As long as she doesn't talk of course.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I used to be a telephone engineer.Memorable people I met at their house were Roger Taylor(Queen),Steve Winwood,Princess Alexandra,Harry Hyams(recluse and owner of once the most expensive private property in U.K.),Willie Carson,Princess Ann,Jimmy Tarbuck,Ian Anderson,Kathy McGowan(Ready Steady Go),David Putnam,Lord Oaksie(former jockey) and Ann Robinson(The Weakest Link). Most were realy nice but didn't think much of Willie Carson,Ian Anderson and Ann Robinson.Roger was living with his girlfriend at White Hart Lane,Barnes in the late 70's and I got him to move some furniture with me where he wanted a phone point.Didn't realise it was him till I was upstairs and saw the Gold and Platinum records on the walls.Lovely aerial photo on the wall of the time Queen gave a free gig at Hyde Park, with the caption ''Anything The Stones can do we can do better'' which I kidded him about.Steve Winwood lives near Northleach,Glos.and he was rehersing in part of his stables with Jim Capaldi etc. for an upcoming Traffic tour to the States.Job was under the name of Wonder Music I think and didn't realise it was his place until I used the toilet and there was a large framed photo of Steve,John and Paul,Eric Clapton.Mick and Keith and a few others in the garden taken in the 60'.Great memorys. >grinning smiley<

I forgot about Robbie Coltrane.
I was taking a pee in Glasgow airport and I noticed from the corner of my eye this massive fella park up beside me. Now, I'm not prone to looking at blokes cocks in toilets, or anywhere for that matter, but he unleashed this monster. He'd have Ron Jeremy running for cover.
I didn't realise it was Robbie until I slinked off to wash my hands and then saw him in the mirror.
Reminds me of taking a piss in Washington at a baseball game next to Tim Russert and Bob Scheiffer - both national newscasters at the time. Russert keeled over and died about a year later. High-fived James Carville after I called a home run shot in the box seats one day. I says '3-1 - this is a good hitter's pitch right here' and BOOM the next pitch was in the upper deck and Carville almost fell over himself to give me some skin lol.

No.

Hes a realy nice guy.
Born a rocker die a rocker.

People, people, people, get involved. Play your guitar, do your fanzines, take photos BE INVOLVED. One day it could all be worth something because it's not only history but the future too. So live it, don't just be part of the audience, participate."

Charlie Harper, 17 December 1998 - quoted from an interview in Scanner Fanzine Issue 3

Met a few sports personalities - Colin Montgomery, Richard Boxall, Lord Coe, Lawrence Dellalio, Phil Tuffnell...

Some models - Lizzy Jagger, Laura Bailey, Noamie Lenoir, Twiggy, Petra Nemcova (the most stunningly beautiful person I have ever seen in the flesh, amazing).

Have met and received a really obnoxious phonecall from L'Wren Scott.

Met Patrick Swayze many times, also Don Johnson, who left a rather funny voicemail on my phone.

Bumped into Noel Gallagher in Harrods, of all places.

Unfortunately though, I've never been lucky enough to actually have a conversation, or even a few words, with any of my heroes. I brushed past Mick Jagger at a private event ten years ago, and literally stood two feet away from Keith Richards at the same event, just stunned and unable to talk!

I've met a few of the stones backing musicians / singers, all of which have been very polite and friendly.
