Also, the governor of Georgia and all the NASCAR boys.

[You think? I think the fact that he actually kept count is more than mildly disturbing.

At least he didnt watch me pee, though.

LOL – fu*k off!

I haven’t kept count, I just happen to recollect as we have met prior to every Stones show I have attended.

tons and tons; first as a kid in nyc going to show after show after show...then in D.C. a lotta concerts thru my unk, who was in the biz...then almost too many years working mags and papers and film and record company stuff as a course of everyday work for years...some wonderful wonderful moments...from peeps i met in mannys on 48th as a kid...etc...etc...i lived for rock. not like now all these years later when i live for rock winking smiley
so i love to tell little stories now and then but mostly it's just peeps, not very interesting really...very few became personal friends...but i love my friends so much...peeps working, peeps annoyed. peeps gracious...(seldom)...
...peeps trying hard....some arrogant...u know...just real life...more intelligent funny talented peeps here proportionately...i guess i'm really really lucky to have that 'moment' or several moments. or even talks and relationships...w peeps famous...if i don't get past that like immediately...nothing really happens for real in the connection...

i drop some stories here and there sometimes on iorr

Ah, you are such a teaser!

I have met a fair number of ‘celebrities’ during the past couple of years or so through work, but unfortunately, very few internationally recognized stars.

Met the Who (sadly, sans Keith) back in 1980 on the opening night of the first U.S. tour in Vancouver. We had backstage passes, "partied" in the dressing room (free alcohol is pretty exciting for a 15-year-old boy) and got to watch the show from the side of the stage. Townshend was super-cool (played Space Invaders for a long time and was very good at it), Entwistle and Jones politely signed programs and Daltrey cringed when it appeared I wanted to shake his hand. Dick.

Spoke to Joe Elliott from Def Leppard in the lobby at the Mott shows last week, he seemed very nice.

I met Noel Redding (bass player of the Jimi Hendrix Experience)
It was back in 1996, Noel was touring with a group called "More Experience" (a very good Hendrix cover band).

I had a quick chat with him, a really nice and glad guy, he answered to some questions regarding the time spent in the studios and so on...

Alexandra Stewart 20 years ago .I was doing "extras" on a French movie .I "played " the role of a barmaid with a black dress (yuk !)

The funny story is that I was completely fascinating by the eyes of the male actor who was playing with her ...see why here :

I 'd almost dropped the tray & wasn't listening what the movie director was asking me .

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

I've met a few famous people here and there but the one that I've been kicking myself was a Mick Jagger experience . I was working down in Laguna Beach at the Ritz Carlton and the buzz was that Mick , Jerry Hall and some kids were staying there . So I had anyone who cared to tell me if they spot him . I kept missing him by minutes . If I didn't have to work then I could have concentrated on it more . Who knows ? Other celebs are OZZy and Sharon . Don Felder , The Iovines , Gene Simmons , Paul Stanley ( in a little deli ) David Johansen , Thats just a select few who I actually spent time with . My friend and I have a Christmas Lighting business and we had a few Rockstars as clients . The biggest house being the guitar player from The Eagles ( Don Felder) . His neighbor was Barbra Streisand . He also invited us to his sons birthday party where Stevie Nicks , Jackson Browne , Tom Petty attended . No Lie

You have the sun, you have the moon, and you have the Stones. I have met the Stoners many times so this means I am only missing the sun and the moon.
