I think we should realize something here. Due to the fact that Live Nations now deals with the shows also in Europe they demanded the same ticket prices as in the US or more or less. US and CAD are for a long time used to such high ticket prices when it comes to the Stones.
Another point is that we in Europe do spend money differently as we have much more holidays and free weekends as in North America. One should not forget that people spend a couple of hundreds /thousands USD for a weekend where we would go half a year on holidays. I met quite young people in LA who just bought tiets on the same day (floor seating near the B-Stage and spend 900 USD as they just had the time and never saw the Stones. Search for those people in Europe. Even wealthy ones just wouldn't do it.
I agree that the Stones ticket prices might be very high in Europe (there are everywhere), but it's the wrong discussion and even if M. Cohl may do a lot mistakes he's not responsible for everything. If the German promoter takes the chance and books the tour it's also his fault not to argue or even just to leave it out.

So we should be happy despite the high prices that we still can go to good concerts and have a show with the Stones

Let them win the bloody tickets, I got a fantastic rolling stones fanclub membership for almost free since I was so clever to buy the tickets even before the official presale and these guys don´t, HAHAHAHA, losers.....

Since this afternoon I´ve recieved at least 10 text messages from friends who got free tickets for tomorrow since it´s not only getgo and eventim but literally every radio station, newspaper and local institutions are giving away hundreds of free tickets. What I love most is the "how much did you pay again?".... oh well!

when it will be finished? and interesting question. the last ICE train from my hometown leaves at 14:00 to reach the concert intime. I´ll see and wait. if I win the tix I ´ll go to Krankfurt..... if not I have to wait. next week in San SEBASTIAN.

I confirm this as well, heard a separate free ticket story yesterday, radio station giving them away to callers, no problem getting through........

Could anybode name these radio-stations? It´s worth a try I think.

Stations are hr3 and FFH. My wife won 2 tix yesterday. And good tickets they are, on the floor in B.
