A last desperate trial to fill up the stadium.....

Cohl will be sacked - he thaught he could charge the Germans 200 Eur pr. ticket and make them sit down during the consert....

hot news !!!!

Will the band punish Frankfurt, with a warhorse-heavy set?

Well, they didn't punish the fans in Twickenham last year even though...

quite clearly that photo was taken during Keith's set, when everyone was
at the bar and taking a piss.

No, it was through a friend of mine who is related to the Frankfurt show in a way but im not allowed to talk about details. He gave the tickets then to other friends.

Last year in Cologne, 1 hour before the gates opened, they gave away dozens and dozens of free tickets. People from the promoters agency cruised around the stadium and asked fans if they're interested in a free ticket and if you said yes you got one. I bought mine weeks before, for 90 Euro. Never again. There are more than enough tickets for everybody. Those times, when Stones concerts were sold out months in advance, are over.

I think the free ticks are the "new 59,00 Euro" ticks.

Nobody knows about this ! This "marketing" was too late.

i'm surprised the site doesn't have an english option...is the trivia question "what's the name of the current tour" or something like that?

- The free ticks you can win

- The 59,00 Euro ticks were sold at eventim. I think you can buy these now at the stadium.

creative maths. they can't say 10,000 can they ? it looks bad

200, 2000, 10,000 - who knows

if it's have been with more notice i'd have considered trying myself

Re: Free Frankfurt ticktes

They can. Do you really think they will make it official that they have to give away 10000 tickets? Say you give a away 200 tickets (the same is also on eventim or getgo or the other offices belonging to CTS) and it's fine. Nobody can control it. Just take part of the lottery and you'll see.

< RKNUTH > (rudy ? ) dont forget ticket prices and they have been coming back so many times and also many times stones had to re-scedule the shows but the same goes for dutch fans a few years ago they sold out 3- 4 shows 200.000 tickets and nijmegen only 38.000 more than 1500 tickets left over on the black market !!

Re: Free Frankfurt ticktes

Despite the fact that they have played to death in Germany since 1990, now they visit the country charging HIGHEST prices and having LOWEST promotion. Any explanation, M. Cohl ??

rknuth:

"THe Stones are playing and nearly nobody is interested. Never thought it might happen"

You' re exaggerating, once again. Any people's disinclination to pay so much for a concert, doesn't mean exactly "no interest" for the band, i think. Especially if, as some say here, there are still people who don't even know that the Stones play in Frankfurt. When all is said with these prices the Stones are attracting 4,500,000 people on this tour and this the factor, unfortunately, makes M. Cohl (or Cohl + them) get out of hand. Completely immune...
