I saw Pirates yesterday, I saw Keith Richards made a new song :""only found out yesterday"" I saw it at the end
Someone can get it????

He sings in the end? I didn't see or hear that at all. I saw him playing a little guitar during his first scene, but he didn't sing.

It wasn't a song at all. It was just some little jam bits he did. Cool sounds, but to call it a song is wrong IMO.

There was some controversy with her and Vilhelm, did they sort things out?
It involved passing on wrong information as well. If I'm doing her wrong here, then i'm sorry - it's just a bit suspicious. Let's see if we ever get to hear something about the Scorsese movie from Cannes from her.

Actually, the film continues after the credits ;-) But no Keef song to my knowledge

I have not seen either of the previous Pirates movies, but of course I am interested in seeing Keith's performance.

Am I in for a crushing disappointment?

Will it be torture to sit through the film?

All of the reviews I have read say that the film is difficult to follow.

I guess I'm seeking validation for blowing off the movie, and saving $11 and three hours of my life.

I saw it Saturday and though it was a fun romp. Keith play a little ditty on the guitar, but thats it. There is no 'song', and its in the video which has already been posted in this thread: [www.iorr.org]

If there's something at the end of the movie AFTER the credits, then I missed it and I'm pissed.

The new tune, entitled "Only Found Out Yesterday" was written and performed by Richards himself, though no word yet on exactly where it appears in the movie. So far, this song seems not to appear on the soundtrack CD which Caribbean Traders will review soon.

lots of movies do have bonus parts after the credits.. I always stay inside of the cinema after the credits..

I stayed for the bonus scene after the credits, but there was no Keith song that I heard; the screen went blank after that last scene w/Keira and the kid.

For me it depends on the movie. I stayed after the end of Grindhouse expecting something but they had NOTHING at the end, and that was a movie that deserved a special 'something' after the credits. Pirates, on the otherhand, was so convoluted with plot elements that the ending gave me complete closure.

(Also I was with a girl who wanted to get out of the theater as soon as it ended. She agreed with me that Keith's part was too short, and that it was the most well-acted bit in the entire film.)

Yeah! So people, dress up, shout and cheer and give him standing ovations when you head off to see Pirates III. OK, I know a few people won't admit they're going to see the movie, not on this board anyway, but when you do go and see it, you're in for a treat.

why do people think the song is something other than what Keith plays on guitar in his main scene?
(iwent to see it last night - first time i was in a movie theatre in about 15 years -
and although it was definitely an Ahh The Things We Do For Keith kind of experience, of course Keith made it all right.
he looks *wonderful*, and it's as if he's sailed in from another movie entirely just to highlight
that everyone else in the flick is merely a cartoon character, while Keith is always Keith.)

The best bit wirh Keith, is when the camera focuses on his ring! I love that part.

Pirate 3 is really good. You can go. Keith is really himself. Just great. When he plays, we can hear his style, and it's good for my brain. Trust me, you can go (or run) to see that film.

Tralala, I don't think I said anything wrong. You basically confirmed the post that talked about the song. I guess you had already seen the movie when you wrote that?
Anyway, I don't want to start a fight with you I just got suspicious because of the arguments you had with Vilhelm.

There´s quite a bit of arguments over futilities going on in different threads. Often in a very angry and patronizing tone. Seems like it´s becoming a problem in all sorts of boards and bloggs on the net. Here in Sweden a lot of people are closing their bloggs because of the tremendous amount of hate mail and threats they receive every day. A sad development in my opinion.
