He only plays around 3-4 songs from Modern Times - sometimes even less - but he does consistently play around with his setlist and his arrangements of the old songs.
I think he just sees MT as another instalment in his body of work - another well from which to draw songs.
That's my only beef with the Rolling Stones - I wish they would loose the big production and the fancy lights necessitating them to play so very structured.
But then again - if you go for the stadiums you gotta follow the rules, I suppose. It's just a shame as their musical well is probably as deep as Bob's - and they too - like Bob - know a whole lot of songs by other artistes, both in country and blues.
