Major league baseball next week or so. Nice summer concert season shaping up in Atlanta. Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee. College football just 5 months away.

In bad news, allergy season in full swing - pollen everywhere. Grass growing fast now too.

Sad to say...not this year...my wife will be 6.5 months pregnant. Hopefully next year.


My friends are playing at Cafe Brasil, on the first fryday.

UMELT-- Fri April 27 - Cafe Brasil - New Orleans, Louisiana

They are jam/electronic....they usually play long shows...their record is 6 hours non stop.

If you watched the 60 Minutes interview from '94, that was Cafe Brasil that Keith & Charlie were hanging at.

I was trying to think the other day (actually in a conversation with someone) who the hot chick of the moment is (thing is, she can't be a psycho which leaves out Angelina Jolie and numerous others) I was stumped.... This is a sanctuary for us North Americans. Canadians, Americans, even Mexicans who need a place to hide from all the "tix, tix, tix, venue venue, presale code legacy blah blah blah" threads which don't pertain to us as the Stones haven't announced there return to North America yet.

I find these pictures absolutely necessary to preserve our dignity and pride as trans-Atlantic dwelles whom, if it weren't for us, there would be no such thing as Rock and Roll.

It would never occur to you of course that all this "tix, tix, tix, venue venue, presale code legacy blah blah blah" business is EXACTLY the same load of shite that prevails on your side of the pond when they're touring over YOUR neck of the woods - and that WE have to read about !! So please kindly do not begrudge us the right to indulge ourselves when they're over in OUR neck of the woods. If it grieves you that much, then why don't you do what appears to be the completely unthinkable for a depressingly large percentage of N Americans ... and that is to get a bloody passport and jump on a plane !! Growing up in The Bronx...I'm automatically a Yankee fan. My wife is a Met fan. LOL
