I went to see Tammy Wynette in the 70s and cryed all the way through it. It was so embarrasing. The dynamics of her band, the way the volume would swell on the choras and immedeatly change to a wisper on the verse was something I never have heard before or since. It was George's band. She got it in the divorce.

Saw Clarence do it live last year at the Hollywood Park Casino. It was a great version..and it was only a four-piece band!
The song that got everybody going was "Strokin'" (Not a sad song!) Clarence would be a fantastic opening act for the Stones.
