What was the song in Good Fellas, near the end just before Ray Liotta gets busted and he's running all those errands...watching for the helicopter in the sky...?

But I had forgotten about Satisfaction in Apocalype Now. That was a great scene, too.

Good idea for a post, Micwer.

I Am Waiting is used incredibly effectively in Rushmore.

Rocks Off, isn't it "Monkey Man"? Or "Memo from Turner"?

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

First of all, great topic!

Second. CYHMK in the beginning of Blow was amazing.

Third. After reading all of the above I can't think of any more movie contributions so how about "I'm Free" in that commercial that aired a few years back....

Goodfellas is a classic.

There is scene in "Get Him to the Greek" where Russel Brand is smoking a "jeffery" with Colm Meaney in Vegas and Rocks Off is playing in the background. Not the best scene in a movie, but pretty funny.

CYHMK in Casino when Pesci has the guys head in the vise and pops his eyes out. Not that I'm advocating violence its the perfect song for that scene.

The first time I ever heard a Stones song in a film was in "Coming Home"...Out of Time.
And I love all of Scorcese's - he is great at selecting the right songs to hit the best vibe.

However, I have to say for the most impact, effect, affect, WOW moment...whatever you want to call it, Time Is on My Side in Fallen is superlative - hands' down winner as the best haunting song.

Rock on!smoking smiley

Tea Leoni dancing nude in the shower in the Family Man is my favorite - excellent use of Beast of Burden.
