I think I liked something about the original better -
The transpency effect was different for one thing... and the figures spread into adjecent letters which was also more interesting..

I think i agree more with ohno, above.

i definitely like the way the original design doesn't have them so tidily compartmented in "their" letters.
Keith's rather out of focus in the original though, right? (i think i remember you mentioning that before.)
i don't suppose the second Keith photo would work easily in the first design, by any chance?

i just think it makes each stone stand out more - it's easier to see, they really stand out and gives each a cameo. i don't mind that 3 of them are looking down but i definitely like the image of mick in the original.

We don't have rights to use photos in the original. I just grabbed them off the net. And besides, they were too low res.

Now that you mention it, that's one thing I would change in the original design, substituting a better Keith photo. Part of my job involves graphic design with picky little clients picking apart every little thing all day long, so I am so glad to be on the other end for once! You're doing a great job schillid, keep up the good work.

I see you've changed the colours around.

in the first design it was:
red, blue, yellow, green

the transparency has:
red, blue, green, yellow

my suggestion would be:
red, yellow, green, blue


..maybe give it a try?

As sometimes mentioned on the original thread before: I don't find the directions the boys look perfectly harmonious. The characters on the outside should look to the middle or both outwards whereas the couple in the middle should look in your eyes or face each other.
But I keep up my order (L, if sold-out better M than XL)!

Well it is very simple. There is not any more time for design discussions. In one week the timeframe for me on this project is closed. The door will be closed. I don't have more time for it then. It is more like now or never. Sorry about that.

I think the original looks better, too. It's better balanced and less repetitive. Presumably other photos could be adapted to it to replace the copyrighted ones...

I read a post by someone who noticed that Charlie, Ronnie and Keith are facing downwards in the same direction. If that is something that bothers anyone, it could be broken and made less visible by moving Mick to position 2. That would probably be Ronnie-Mick-Charlie-Keith then: a sorrt of stage configuration.

But I'm very pleased and thankful with the amount of work and the improvements made!
