Spanish football session ends around 30 June this year, Madrid & BCN impossible in May.

El Ejido concert organization says Stones play there in July/August and the official news will come before end of year but nothing is confirmed yet.

See you next year in Spain???

Honolulu would be nice as long as they don't book the stadium again...
Blaisdell arena or the Hawaii theater would be the best...
p.s. Honolulu is part of the Unites States, believe it or not, although some consider it part of the Phillipines, but it isn't.

The city is lovely indeed, they say, but the "venue". And it's too far for me. I prefer Landgraaf :-)

I think perhaps a smaller venue in Ireland like The Point would be better than Croke Park. Of course a club show here would mean I could die happy. I have decided that I have to see the band in a theatre next year. Whether thats a realistic goal I don't know but it would really make my year!

we've all been thinking that for two years and unless you lived in New York this tour, your chances were minimal to say the least!

I do think they might play Dublin next summer, but I would bet it'll be outdoors.

Aye - with bells on; made it to the point on 11/9/03 and it were a topper. As m'learned friend from belfast says tho', we'll be looking at an outdoor gig. Fact is the point sold in a matter of nanoseconds and so they'll want to do the outdoor thing. A gig in Croker would be nice, but if they DO announce that, make sure you get a ticket for the pitch or lower level seating. The echo in the upper tiers at 'that jumped up showband from finglas' on the vertigo tour was dire...

Just thought I would add my 2 cents worth here. This afternoon Robbie Williams arrived in Perth for two shows this week, allready half a million tickets have been sold Australia wide and 60,000 so far for Perth. Kylie Minogue does her sold out show on Monday, Elton John in December. Three of the biggest acts around coming to Perth over a matter of weeks. The Stones do two shows only in Sydney and Melbourne. All thats ever talked about is Europe and the states. Well Messrs Rolling Stones and Co it just so happens we have the venues and we have the money. I have been a dedicated Stones fan since 1963 but I am pissed off and I wager so are a lot of others. Not everybody thinks it worthwile to fly 5000 kilometres to see a band on the other side of the country. Other big acts can tour the whole country why cant the Rolling Stones. By the way Im not interested in starting a flame war here, just stating how I feel.

i'd love them to play Perth- preferably between Feb-March, next year,
when i'm there for 3 weeks. smiling smiley

Youre right, whiskey - its natural that most of the talk is about Europe because thats where the next large-scale tour is likely to be and a lot of the members here are from Europe. Doesnt alter the fact that the Aussies and Kiwis were basically an afterthought for the Stones on this tour and Australia at least should have got more shows (South America too). Hope you get them but I think its a case of "too remote to be arsed" as far as theyre concerned.

Add U2 to that list of major acts who sold loads of tickets for Down Under too.

Time to tour the second market of Europe and Asia? They did well on the secondary market in U.S.

they have quite a bit of the 'first' part of the Euro market to take care of first! smiling smiley
