thanks for pointing out when ron purportedly said this - a few days can make a huge difference so i'll hang on to this as hope.

If you check out the IORR news you will see there are no "Keith is flying to USA" news. It was out for an hour or so when the Danish promoter made a false statement about Keith flying home on Wednesday May 17 but it was removed soon after when it turned out Keith was not flying home after all.

First, I know THE MAN has no need for me to defend him, but I just cannot beleive that in the past few days posters have argued about the valididty of BV's statements and now critcize the way he handles news ON HIS OWN BOARD!There are certainly people who have been here longer, but after about 4 years here, and at the other two BIG BOARDS, ( Shidobbee and Rocks Off) I have come to respect BV for his accuaracy, for being a gentlemen, and for the huge amount of work he does for all of us without financial gain. I cannot believe that anyone would come to this board and berate him for anything, yet they do all the time, for censorship, for supposedly withholding information, for any grevious sin that any angry poster can imagine.

You want rumours? Unnamed sources? Go read all the posts by JB, Joey, Mr Lawyer ( who I think has a remarkable subtle and sarcastic wit beneath all his pompous belly-aching ) on some other sites. MY God who was the guy that told us for certain that Keith was in the Cleveland Clinic? BV tells us what he can when he can, and belive it our not, this IS HIS SITE, not a public library.

Maybe his sources come out of long friendships, maybe they are due to stumbling on fickle fate and luck, maybe he slept with Anita Pallenberg, it is none of our friggin business, and to critcise him for not having or giving us more is just assinine. Its like going to someone's house for dinner and telling them you hate their choice of tableware; it just plain rude and senseless.

I am human, I want to see the Stones hit the stage by BRNO at least. If it doesn't happen, Little Queenie and I and freinds will go Castle hopping. WE will make the best with what we can. Its not like touring Europe wthout concerts is a burden! Its just not what we initially planned. I want Kieth to get well. I want a Stones show. I want to know what is going on. But I also want to come back in my next life an anorexic lottery winner, you can't beat Thin and Rich! But some crap just ain't gonna happen.TO take you frustrations out on BV is just beyond reason.

Whatever happened to the rumour's of the Stones finding a replacement for Keith?
Personally, I find that a disgusting idea and would probably refuse to attend a Keithless Stones show,
but I'm sure there are many out there who would be willing to satisfy their Stones urges by seeing a bastardized version of the Stones.
The question is, are there still replacement rumours circulating amongst the gossip-mongers?
I haven't heard any in quite a while, and thank God for that.

If that's true I'm optimistic since you write on the tour schedule that only the first 4 concerts of the Euro tour are postponed.

Just as I'am waiting official announcement today (hope definitive statement), are you sure already that the first 4 concerts of the Europe tour are postoned (Barcelona 27/5, Madrid 30/5, Brussels 1/6, Paris 3/6) ??

As so far, I just heard about Spain ones postponed as "official", Brussels and Paris organisators (who sold me FOS tickets) did not yet inform me about cancellation...

I think it comes out of the London office but not exactly just when they open. Maybe they still discuss things in the morning by phone and release their statement around noon London time....

I think Ronnie's comment 3 more weeks sounds true, because if the tour was starting anytime soon, wouldn't the band be gathering together getting everything ready? Lets face it Ronnie seems like he is going back to his everyday lifestyle. Drinking a lot since the accident - that sort of says theres time to goof off now.
