Keith Richards has arrived back home in the U.S. from New Zealand. He is feeling great, happy to be home and looking forward to getting back on the road with the Rolling Stones next month. According to Tour Promoter, Michael Cohl, a revised tour itinerary will be announced shortly.

The last time rs.com used the same phrase was 8th of May.. One can only hope, guess and pray... This incident is really a rollercoaster ride...

Well the good news is that Keith is fine !

If I read the message right the tour will start sometime next month.
I don't remember the original schedule exactly but I think Denmark
is the first stop in June, Sweden the second one!?

Am I wrong? Hopefully they start in Gothenburg. But the sooner the better!

In the meantime we just have to listen to the greatest band on earth
on our turntables, cd-players, MP3's and iPods

But the statement on the RS site does not hold much information. At first, it does not say whether Keith was going home by the plane, or by other means of transport. If he did not fly, it may be sign of that he is not totally OK (although I think it is better for him not to risk such a flight). At second, it does not say anything about keith's health, only feeling great, happy and looking foward to touring. That is not much ... because even a man who has health problems can feel great, be happy to be at home and look forward to touring. At third, they apparently still do not know when the tour starts, because if they did, they would have put it on web together with this info. At fourth, even if I know that keith is on stage like at home, nobody knows which effects after a brain injury will have exposure to lights, sounds, people ....


But I believe that shortly we will get more info, and that will make those thoughs I wrote obsolete. I still hold my tickets for Brno ...

Keith must have been flown to the US, it takes ages to get from NZ to US by boat..

Well, I am from Europe, so sorry if I overexaggerated my thoughs. I actually do not know, how long it takes to get to U.S. from NZ by the boat.
