No, I ain't rich and I don't know what will happen with the gig I'm attending, but heck, there's nothing in the world more important than health, and when it's the health of someone you supposedly admire and have respect for... Well!

Sure, Keith fell head-down from the tree thinking he'll ruin kaskatanas' and TooTough's plans (if he did in fact fall down from a tree). Like he enjoys the whole deal. Like a brain operation is a walk in the park, a bout of flu or something.

Will you guys get a grip on yourselves?

I find it interesting that the same “devil may care” attitude that most people have always admired in Keith Richards now has many of you POed because it has cost you money or time. I am sure this is not the first time that KR actions have unconvinced someone, and I believe if you asked him he would own up every one. My impression is he is the kind of person who lives by his own rules and accepts the blame for screw-ups. I think most of us can not live this way and admire him for it, I do. “The price of an education”.
I think when the final score is tallied on KR they will have to weigh the pleasure he has brought others and the trouble he has cause others, and I think he’ll do OK in the final judgment.

You are probably not the only one who is upset, I'm sure most, if not all, people who planned to go to the posponed showes are or will be upset, but many people are focusing on his health more than the money and time lost.

My calculating brain: I'm going to Barcelona anyway. Perhaps I can get the tickets. Perhaps I'll sell them cheap to someone who "suffers" from this.....There are indeed bigger problems than this. Gigs, meetings, sightseeing can be postponed, rearranged etc.
Lives can't.

If a BIG tour is ahead of you with hundreds of thousands of fans waiting in
front of the stadiums you don´t walk the highwire or swim with pyranhas.
You just @#$%& watch your step more than in between tours with 2
years break. That´s called professionalism.

At this point, no-one's sure of anything. We don't have an official new list of the dates and how they might be re-arranged. For all I know, yes, the Athens gig could be postponed or it could also be cancelled all together. I don't know that.

But I'm telling you with all the honesty I have in me, what matters to me is that Keith's 100% healthy and fine and up to it. Even if Athens was number 1 on the list of cities to be played, even if it was cancelled - even if it is cancelled now, what comes first is Keith's health. There's no comparing it.

Gigs are gigs and lives are lives.

So now we expect the Stones to act as respectable professionals and deliver what we pay for, right?

I mean, come on now guys. It's so early yet, maybe we're talking about a very small delay, maybe we can all rearrange our plans and have fun either way.

If the story about the coconut IS true, it also involved lots of vodka and rum, if you remember the report. We're talking about a drunk guy climbing the tree there. What do you expect?

And can we change Keith's alcohol habits? No. If this was the seventies, could we change his heroin habits? Nope. All plans would still be hanging on a wire. That's the way it is. It's not like we woke up today and found out Keith Richards is unreliable, for crying out loud.

What matters is that the guy gets well, right? There's no point pondering the "what if's" now.

Hey, hey there - I DO want to see him in shows and I DO want to listen to his music - but those are NOT the reasons I want him to recover! I don't need a Human Riff jukebox

I want him to recover cause BECAUSE of all these years of listening to his music, and his views and all, I've come to appreciate the guy and love him (as much as you can love someone you've neve actually met) and that's why I want him to be fine - cause I care for the man Keith Richards. Period. Comes higher than the music. Higher than the gigs.

No, I think we want him to recover because we love him and want him to be well. Love, you know? Even if there should be no more shows whatsoever.

If Keith was hit by a car - another thing.
If Keith has got cancer - another thing.
If he has got the flu - another thing.
If he was hurt while robbed- another thing.
etc.

If he fell off a tree while fooling around - a reason for me to be upset
and angry.
