"Oh, Carol" and "Midnight Rambler" at the LA Forum, 1969. Captivating!

Non-Stones: "I Woke Up This Morning" and "I'm Going Home", Ten Years After at the Pasadena Rose Palace, 1969. Their performance that evening was exactly one week after Woodstock.

Satisfaction from Sept. 26/05 in Toronto was pretty good. Monkey Man from Dec. 3/94 (also in Toronto) went over quite well too. But I really loved 2000 LYFH in '89! I wish they'd bring that one back. smiling smiley

Hi Elmo! ...I say the same; was a little precautious
in greetin' Luke cause I've been away nightly myself
for quite a while...
And I didnt know if ya, Luke, used to hang around these days.

Bet ya have some dead hot sunny blue-sky'ed dayz, huh?
Here the spring is slowly approaching.
Worst winter since 1987.

There are several songs I really enjoyed during Stones concerts. There was Midnight Rambler in Berlin/Weissensee in 1990 - unbelievable, for sure the best version I ever witnessed.
Then there was "You Got Me Rocking" in Prague in 1995 - what a smashdown!
Then there was "Tumbling Dice" in Leipzig in 1995 - the start of a big big party, the song was full oy!
Then there was "Street Fighting Man" in Berlin in 1995 - just rock and roll.
Then there was "It's Only Rock'n'Roll" in Nuremberg in 1998 - I really thought that Mick was about to destroy the stage, unbelievable.
Then there was "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" in Berlin in 2003, then there was If you Can't Rock Me in Berlin and Leipzig the same year.

AAAAAAND there was "Rock Me Baby" with Angus & Malcolm Young in Leipzig in 2003 - it just took my breath away.

There were so many great moments, whereby I belive that every Stones concert I attended was a highlight itself.

Luke's been busy with tax season and had a small accident (I'm pretty sure he was all liquored-up, but don't tell him I said that!) winking smiley

I wont say anything.
Well; soon tax season here too.
Use to take me 45 minutes; if I fill in the sums slowly.
...It's easy here; the state collects everything; and
give ya some tobacco-, booze- and Bean Can-money to spend.

I have to say " Angie" from the Buffalo Show August 8, 1975 would be one choice.
Jumpin Jack Flash, Montreal, April 20, 1998
Monkey Man from First Union Center, Philly Sept 2002
As Tears Go By, Boston, January 13 2006
I Got The Blues, Hartford, March 1999
Worried About You, Radio City, March 14, 2006
Midnight Rambler, Albany, Pepsi Arena, Sept 17, 2005
All Down The Line, Boston Garen, June, 1972
Doo Doo Heartbreaker, Boston Garden, June 1975

Sorry they're not in sequence but it's from my mempry and I wrote them as I remembered them.

Hey Baboon, NICOS, and Elmo. What the heck is happening? I have been away for awhile, like Elmo said. First it was work obligations; which, by the way, will be over on April 17. Then I broke my freeking arm in two places on April 1. I had surgery last Wednesday to have two titanium plates and a hand full of phillips head screws inserted into my arm. I'll carry this hardware around with me for the rest of my life, which should make for some pretty interesting attempts on my part to avoid the body cavity searches at airports.

I've got to get back to work at the moment. I'm just trying to get warmed up for next week when I come back full force. I've been working on some new material, I just don't know what it is yet.

Later.
