"Loving You" is a Four Tops tune, I believe

but, as I took a deeper look, it was in fact co-written by Stevie. Boy, that's a song that many have covered over the years....The Band, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Susan Tedeschi (on her latest), to tick off a few that come to mind.

Good ear, my two faced friend fom Northern California, but even though the song was covered by the Four Tops as well as Bryan Ferry and Eric Clapton, it was written by none other than Little Stevie Wonder and Ivy Jo Hunter.

MAN! I absoultely just LOVE this song so much!!! Now that you guys are talking about it, I need to hear it right this very second, and don't have that cd with me. ARRRGGGHHH, I hate that.
That riff is so intoxicating. I used to have it on my answering machine. People always thought it was so cool (no one I knew had ever heard it before).

I always like to pretend the the Wonder/Hunter is Meredith Hunter.

Hey BB, Is this from Metamorphosis? My mix sounds a little different than yours; I don't normally hear the percussion so much. I don't know if it's tambourine I'm hearing or some kind of jangly bell thing, but I never heard this on my recording. Granted I still mostly play it on my old record player which is my favorite way to hear music still, but I do bring the cd to work sometimes too and listen through the headphones and still never noticed it till now.

Don't you love finding something new in a song! It's like discovering a new chamber in the pyramids, a whole new treasure to savor.

I do the same thing though, I'll be doing a side by side comparison when I get home.
