What the hell are they going to do between Sapporo and Nagoya? Is Sendai still on?

So why is it not on rs.com?

Does that imply that the tickets you can call for tomorrow morning are only for Tokyo?

Re: Japanese Tour Dates?

Very confusing.

Online - No golden circle; Tokyo S, A, B, C; Sapporo, Nagoya S only
03-5474-5944 - Tokyo Golden Circle, S, A, B, C; Sapporo, Nagoya S only
03-3499-9380 - Tokyo ONLY Golden Circle, S, A, B, C

Obviously, they are anticipating a lot of interest in Tokyo.

By the way, how do we know that Golden Circle is only center rows 1-14? That would be a first for this tour.

Again, why are the dates not on rs.com?
And: what is your best bet for a field ticket, call the number, or reserve online?
What happens if you call that number, are they going to ask for a credit card? Or is it maximally japanese, that they are just going to trust you?
Please Toru, answer these questions.

More weirdness. Nagoya has disappeared from the jec-international ad!

Well, I guess we'll see tomorrow morning when we call....
But again, please Toru, I can't read all this japanese, I don't know how things work here in Japan: can't you answer some questions?

I wish I could help, but I'll be at MSG when the tix go on sale. I am sure you'll be able to get tix somehow, even if you need to resort to auctions.yahoo.co.jp. I do not need to be in the "golden circle".

See my thread on Rs.com. They say that there will be a fan club pre-sale.

Now you can order tickets for Nagoya and Tokyo through the JEC website.
Sapporo though is not available. And calling 03-54745944 is virtually impossible. Toru please, give me some clues. The board on rs.com tells us that this is not a ticket sale, but some sort of pre-registration. What's happening?

I'll just let everybody share in my misery.
The Sapporo date has disappeared from the jec international page.
Why? Only god knows because you can't call JEC. The number is always occupied.
We tried for two and a half hours with three mobile phones.
It doesn't work.
And rs.com? Nothing. They don't even announce Sapporo and Nagoya.
Does somebody maybe have some uplifting news for me?

I just called and was able to get through. The Golden Circle for Tokyo are gone, but the "S" tickets (which I was told are behind the golden circle on the floor, and 1st level stands) are still available. You can only order them, and won't know which seats you have until you receive the ticket. I decided not to pull the trigger. Hopefully other options will be available.

Thanks for all the support drbryant.
I have no money for two shows. So I only wanted Sapporo. But Sapporo has disappeared from the JEC site.

Everybody is ofcourse very interested in my personal problems with tickets.
So I thought I'd jot 'em down once more.
My collegues, who saw in which depressed state I was, looked it up for me. They say there has not been a sale of Sapporo tickets today.

Sapporo,

Check it Lawson-Ticket.
Sale on Feb 1 at 1:00 PM.

I think Sapporo Dome is the best place for tour of Japan.
Good Luck.

Does anyone know where to find a seating chart for the Tokyo shows? I found the generic seating chart for the Tokyo Dome, but it shows the seats in baseball configuration.

Also, are there any other options for purchasing tickets other than the JEC site?

I live in Korea and will be going to the show in Tokyo.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The stands do not change. The stage is in center field. This site gives you a basic idea of the layout of field seats, but remember that for stones shows, the stage is larger so it will probably extend a bit more into the field, pushing sections back a bit.

Thanks for the site.

It did help to give me a rough idea of the seating. I suspected that the stands wouldn't change, but I was curious as to where the boundaries were for the different seat classifications.

As it turns out, I waited too long and didn't have much choice. The S tickets and A tickets were sold out, so I went with B tickets. I hope that they are not too far away.

Not too impressed with the sales agent's (JEC) site. I recently bought tickets to see James Brown here in Korea and using the sales agent's site, I could choose which individual seats I wanted from those that were remaining just by clicking on them! So I could see the remaining seats in each class (A, B, C, etc.) and then I could choose which seats I wanted (center, aisle, etc). Very very effecient system! For those who are curious, and who can read Korean, check it out here: [ticket.interpark.com]

As you can see from the photos, once you get up into the stands, there isn't a hell of a lot of difference between 2nd tier, etc. You are there for the event-ness of it all -- the fireworks, the crowd, etc. I've said this before, but to me, sitting in the worst seat in the house at a Stones show is still better than anything else that I can think of doing.

huey222,

Korea has good and ideal system. This is customer oriented.

Don't worry.
I think 2nd floor seats could be exciting like Block F in the arena.
Everybody is saying Block E in the Arena can be the most expensive this time. Dynamite.
B tickets are also reasonable.

Considering Sapporo and Nagoya is an option if you afford it.
Nagoya's Presale begins 10:00 to 18:00 on Feb4 and Feb5.

What is Zoom Enterprise? Why are the Stones using all of these 2nd tier promoters this time? Strange and very confusing. Toru, you are amazing at being able to find all of the onsale information.

On the floor map it looks like they have taken out three sections (A9 - A11) to accommodate the ramp. This would be 36 seats plus 2 aisles. They don't need that much space. Odd . . .

Japanese Tickets

Hey all,

Does anyone have any idea when tickets purchased through JEC might be mailed out. I got a Japanese friend of mine who is living in Korea to call his sister (who is living in Japan) and she ordered tickets for me. However, the tickets must be mailed to a Japanese address.

My concern is that the tix will be mailed out too close to the concert date for my friend's sister to mail them to me in Korea.

Has anyone been in contact with JEC directly (or heard from anyone who has) about when the tix will be sent out?

Thanks for the help,

Huey
