Must be difficult for Mick having the pressure to perform
pretty much as always. Most people go see the Stones shows
because they are Stones shows, so not moving like jagger is
not an option.

I can see other 2/3 years on the road with a new studio album; Europe next year with the new album, and a final short tour in 2026/27 in the major city worldwide (5 Aussie/NZ gigs, 5 South American gigs, 5 Japan/Asian gigs, 5 Nort American gigs and 5 European gigs with a couple of final gigs in London).
This is my 5 cents prediction.

2027...
And what about 2030 ?

There is at least 2-3 years left.
European 2025
New album...and after that..

I'd say it's history's last stones show in 2027

Mick Jagger was a teenager when he replaced a proper education at London School of Economics with singing on stage with a rhythm'n'blues band. He has been performing live all his adult life. There is no pressure, just his own ambitions.

Mick is working with his high performance ambitions every show, every day, like they dropped "Out Of Time" after two shows in the US this summer. I think he is getting a great kick out of it, like the rest of the band, and no pressure at all.

Well there you go! Touring up to 2027. And maybe even beyond. The expectations are enormous. The DEMAND is enormous. When will it all end? Will it all end?

Good people, might someone somewhere, right now, be working on some kind of Artificial Intelligence/Virtual Reality concoction that allows a hologram-based version of Stones play FOREVER? Daft? Yes. Impossible? Absolutely not. Several devices could be manufactured and sent to different parts of the world so that punters could see a Stones 'concert' in whatever country they fancied visiting. Always! And the 'Stones' could tour Australia, the US, GB, Europe, Adia, South America AT THE SAME TIME...

I can visualise the suits and the money-people, and the corporate behemoths absolutely salivating at the thought of how much money might be made from such an initiative.

And to think I loved The Stones because they were a snotty, impertinent, insouciant, terrifying (to parents) group of dangerous young men who played raw, raucous, REAL rock, and who had no interest in holding anyones hand. They wanted to burn our towns...

i could see mick and keith sitting on stools and doing a few songs if there both alive and able in 2032 for the 70th anniversary

why not

if willie nelson can perform in his 90's so can mick and keith if they want to

i think mick will continue performing for the rest of his life in some way

but the stones tours will have to stop eventually 2-3 years absolute max in my opinion

dosen't mean they'll stop performing at all

or the last show was the last show ever

why are some people so interested and annoyed at other people having potentially unrealistic opinions about there future endeavors as a band?

so what

what's the worst that happens there wrong hate to tell everyone this but most of the guess about what there gonna do next made on this site over the last few decades have been wrong in hindsight

so why must people stop now because there 80?

well they were 50 60 70 etc. etc. it's over when it's over let's just let people enjoy the ride while it last

They’ll tour as long as they want to and right now they’re having a great time and - improbably - playing near the top of their game. And we’ll keep going as long as we can. But, it’s definitely uncertain. Two recent tours scrapped - 2020 for the pandemic, and 2023 when someone apparently failed the insurance medical. So, please, nobody walk under any ladders or break any mirrors, and avoid all black cats!

Absolutely not. They are musicians and performers. They put on a concert, a physical moving show, not story time. Ridiculous.

No annoyance here mate! Interest yes, Annoyance no. We are fans! Having a range of opinions, different points of view, challenging each other, having a laugh about it - its all part of fandom.

The thought of Mick and Keith doing some kind of front-porch rocking-chair schtick fills me with horror. After all the energy, swagger and 'in-yer face-ness' The Stones brought into our world, to subside in that way would be a huge anti-climax. But I'm not saying this in anger. If it happens and others love it, then good luck to 'em. But it ain't for me...

Frankie Valli is 90 and is still touring. Including performing three show's in three days in different cities. I hope to see him perform this September in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Who knows maybe the Stones have 10 plus years a head of them!

ok i see that and agree with you

but my comment about the stool was about them in there 90's for some kind of one off event to celebrate the 70th anniversary not a tour or even a full show

maybe a couple blues songs on the stools and then they stand up and do jjf and satisfaction

and i understand and respect your distaste for that idea

but mick and keith probably don't think or care about how there performing now or in ten years affects there legacy or reflects on there younger selves they may just wanna perform because they wanna perform

According to first-hand info, the same Italian promoter who managed the show in Lucca in 2017 will be in Manchester late this month to deal the Italian concerts of the European Tour 2025.
Almost surely, Milan will not be granted a concert.
Let’s see what happens…

Can’t be formally announced yet, but it’s almost sure that the RS will play in Napoli next year (source is the promoter)

Napels? Very old stadium, rarely having big concerts. Poor compared to Rome and Milan. Would be very nice to see the Stones at the Maradona stadium, but not sure if I will see this happening to be honest.

For 2022 also the RCF Arena Campovolo Reggio Emilia was rumoured. They seem to have good funding and connections getting the big acts.

Dont get me wrong, I would love to see the Stones at the home of Pizza. Hope it will happen.

I hope that if there are concerts in Italy it will happen in Rome or Naples. The RCF Arena Campovolo Reggio Emilia is a good place to spend a lot of money and see absolutely nothing, with more than 100,000 people, all standing.

Probably not - because the recent European tours were not announced that far in advance:

Europe 2017: announced 9-May-2017, started 9-Sep-2017
Europe 2018: announced 26-Feb-2018, started 17-May-2018
Europe 2022: announced 14-Mar-2022, started 1-Jun-2022

The Stones are a blues band. I would have no problem with them on stools, if need be, and doing some fabulous blues tunes. Remember Blue and Lonesome? I do and I loved it.

Italy, Spain, France and Austria should be on every tour in Europe. Then add Portugal. Then add UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland - Bern, Germany more than one show, and now it is time for both Denmark, Norway and Finland. Keep you calendar open for summer 2025 in Europe, and, they might start already spring time, if they are coming to Europe from the Far East.

Why Austria? I would guess the 'must-visit' countries are: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands. The last one, because of selfish reasons smileys with beer

I think the North America 2024 tour was 20 shows because of the expenses they had with the planned 2023 tour, which was 14 shows planned, then taken off same week as they planned to announce it.

They do normally one show in the Nordic region, then two in Germany. Bern is like 90% for sure because they are loyal to previous plans, but we all know what happened to Valladolid Spain, never resheduled.

What we do know is that the tour in Europe will be a great success, so just start preparing your family to a summer in Europe that will fit into the Stones tour schedule!
