That'll do me. Apart from the club shows in 2012, I've been to every Paris Stones show since 2007.

The band would go on without Ronnie, if Mick and Keith so wished.
Keith would ask his buddy Waddy to fill in
Why no Ronnie ?

I just want to say that Mick and Keith would do without him just in case.

This kind of insensitive talk about Ronnie or whoever else is out of order. They just finished an amazing tour, so do us all a favour and give it a rest already.

I don't believe he's being insensitive. Contractually speaking, if a tour is booked and something were to happen to Ronnie (God forbid), Mick and Keith would still be required to carry on as they are the only two that are contractually considered irreplaceable.

And how many times have we read here “ No Charlie, no more Stones ” ?

Mick has other thoughts on what’s next. At least at the moment he does. He wants to finish another album first. Lots of bits and bobs to finish up on it as well, before a tour can happen.

They’re not required to do anything.

If another album comes first, would Europe not get a Hackney Diamonds tour? I loved this tour getting 4 HD songs it fit so well and I'd imagine they would still play these songs in Europe

as far as I remember: when HD came out BV said something like they'll be focussing some 18 month on promoting/touring the album. In other words: a new album wont be released until fall 2025 (= if you count from the beginning fo the US tour)

As good as it is, HD may just feel a bit like Yesterday's Papers by May/June 2025 - obviously I hope we get the new HD songs next year irrespective.

That was nearly a year ago mate. Things change. They could certainly change again, but recording is what they are talking about now and should that happen, it will effect the timing of the next tour.

If Europe is in the works won’t be announced til Dec/Jan my guess. Hope they do at least 3 England dates. For moment it’s rest.

well, the Rolling Stones touring songs that are older than 1,5 years? That's really unheard of…

“That’s it for the Stones Tour ’24! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to see a show! And a special thanks to all the exceptional musicians who accompany the Stones on stage, plus all the crew members who work so hard to make this happen,” the band wrote on their official social media, lowering the curtain for the rest of the year, and without giving any indication of what will happen.

With these cards on the table, the group will make the usual assessment, on which they will order their next steps. And according to Grinbank, Latin America will not be on the British radar for the moment. “ They evaluated it and the numbers don’t add up ,” said the creator of DG Experience. “ Unfortunately, they opted for other more economically profitable places ,” he added.

Grinbank already had the information, which is why he did not attend the last date of the tour, where he would have marked his presence and exerted pressure when it came to pushing for Argentina. “ We were not competitive as we had been, we lost purchasing power compared to previous years, added to the fact that Argentina has more taxes and levies than other places : the largest copyright in the world of 12 percent, taxes for screen use, check tax of 1.2 percent and the cost of River is the same as that of a Santiago Bernabéu,” he lists. Another factor to rule out Latin America for the moment is the distance between the large places. “They did not want to move much, and as far as what separates Buenos Aires from Sao Paulo, in Europe you have 10 cities,” exemplifies the producer.

The Old Continent appears to be one of the options to welcome the Stones around 2025. Having shown excellent form fuels them to continue after a well-deserved rest. “ The tour was fantastic, there was not a single complaint at the shows, but I cannot make futurology ,” says Grinbank, who places Asia among the options, another geographical giant but with advantages from an economic point of view.

and one tacked on at the end for canada

There isn't a stadium in Hawaii where they could play.

that's what the people said in Branson MO too.

I don't think you understand, insurance doesn't cover cancelation unless it's Mick or Keith

Insurance gets very expensive when the risk becomes high. Insuring a tour of 80 year old artists is considered high risk, sort of like insuring a house in Florida for hurricane damage or a house in California on an earthquake fault for earthquakes. Insurance companies are not Rolling Stones fans, they are money fans. Whether or not Ronnie or anyone else is on the policy is beyond my insight.

Polydor has an 18 month promotional plan. It started in August of 2023.

I find it strange that they hyped FORTY LICKS so much with a huge push through streaming platforms and have held onto the out dated mentality of, well, here:

“Getting Forty Licks back out was really important for us as we’ve not had a compilation in the market that tied both ABKCO and the Stones’ post-1971 catalogue together for years,” added Tant. “There are various metrics we want to hit over the next 18 months but personally I’d like to get the Stones into the top 100 acts on Spotify off the back of Hackney Diamonds and keep them there!”

I guess Polydor's Ali Tant forgets what a playlist is and how one can work.

I think Mick wanted to enjoy his birthday yesterday, relax for a bit and then ask keith and Ronnie what they want to do in about a month. I'm sure they are exhausted and somewhat drained from their latest tour. They seemed to really enjoy it but they may need some serious recovery time at their ages. they don't go and play little shows it's a huge production that requires a lot of work. Who really knwos what they want to do next year. only time will tell,

If a European tour is being planned to start in May then it's going to be half a year before we hear anything ticketwise...this is going to be agonising.

hmmm........the tickets are usually announced for a Friday in late November, for a May start (and possibly for Christmas sales?). The only time later would maybe be February of the same year, but that is a little tight for a May start!!

Not in Europe: the SIXTY-Tour was announced on 14-Mar-2022 and start was 1-Jun-2022 - so less than 3 months in-between.

similar in 2018 – tickets went on sale in late March, the first show was Dublin on May 17 – only two month in-between
