We know a 4k LETS SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER is coming supposedly by the end of the year. Wouldn’t it be awesome if none of the songs were edited? One could only dream.
LSTNT won't be released by the Rolling Stones themselves so it will just be the original movie.

I have the DVD version of it somewhere in my house. That movie made me dizzy watching it because the version I have was so speeded up. I hope if it is released that it at least is playing at a normal speed.

This is gonna be killer. Damn. Some of the other ones, like San Jose, just didn't really... interest me. Didn't bother getting it.
Anyone else?

I also do not have much interest in purchasing material from this era. I to go the shows (I did not miss a 2024 show) and movie releases when they are available in local theaters or at the IMAX near me.
However, I do not like the sound of their material since 1982. It just doesn't have the vibe/feel that I like. To me it sounds like something is missing or shouldn't be there.
Maybe it has to do with going all digital, I am not sure, but I haven't purchased a live release since Leeds and doubt I will.

1975-76 those songs (JJF, SFM, Brown Sugar) stayed horrendous, others were fantastic, but they got really sloppy.
1978 they tightened up, slowed down the stupid JJF, and found a new perfect.
I love the fastJJF and SFM.The energy is incredible. But your analysis is very informativeQuote

I get what you are saying. Just rewatched JJF and actually Texas 78 is faster than LA 75. (bpm wise)
