It looks like there will be another deluxe re-edition this year, the album is not known yet but Mick has been working on several outtakes in the past months.
40x5 has been handling the same information for weeks and already published it on their Instagram account several weeks ago.
We can only wait for more information.
I don't believe Soldatti's post above refers to the vinyl reissue of VOODDO LOUNGE with a bonus EP of non-LP B-sides. I do believe Soldatti's post refers to the long-planned package of outtakes from 1989 - 1997 that has been floated for the past 25 years as a possible project by Don Was. I do believe that is what Mick was finally finishing up lyrics/vocals for earlier this year. Time Will Tell.

I think this release is geared towards those who got into the Stones as their first album. Or, maybe this was their first Stones concert. They still had a good groove back in 94 & 95 even though they had to overcome a few obstacles.
I just don't find this release as appealing to the older fans who saw this release as the Vegas years.
Back then every tour was going to be the last one.

Back when? I missed those announcements.

A potential Knebworth release is one that's tantalised many of us for years.

Me too..same age as well .

Hope we get it one day .
Edited to add..
Don't see why not . Plenty of bits and bobs have surfaced with half decent quality.
[Many used to say that there weren't good enough recordings surviving of El Mocambo to do much with ...but that turned out ok.]

It is a shambolic performance so its main appeal would be a DVD release. But didn't Gazza mention here that it was only partly filmed?

An edited or truncated version could be good, as there are several excellently performed numbers.

I would take Köln (afternoon gig) over this one.
And overall I don't think 76 produced any memorable performances. The much-touted Paris ones leave me "meh".

I like the first two Frankfurt shows, and some of the last shows on the tour are nice, like Nice and Barcelona. The rest of the tour is just really lackluster in my opinion.

Imho the Sept.7 show is very decent. I hope the band had all the 4 gigs recorded with the Mobile not just the last night.

i suspect there's probably box sets worth of recorded shows from 69-78 that they have
but they really don't seem to like releasing live shows without video
el mocambo being the glorious exception to the rule

El Mocambo, Leeds 71, Roundhouse 71 (incomplete), Brussels 73, LA 75 (different show than video release), Wembley 82, Live in England 65, NYC 69 (Missing tracks from Ya-Ya's, different shows than video release), Live at the BBC and Toronto 2005 are the archival releases without video available so far If I didn't miss one.
