This is killing me! How are you guys getting this? Since this started I’ve gone into the website so many times. I see 6 options to buy - regular sale a 5 presale categories - and they are either On Sale Soon or Coming Soon. What are you seeing when you open the site? Could it be that I’m logging in from Canada?

Holy @&#!!! It finally worked. That link put me into a frustrating loop yesterday so I abandoned it and was just trying the website. Went back into the link and …Voila! Pit A! Thanks Syrel, Topi et al! See you at the Bean!

AXS still working at 5:30AM Chi local. Of course, the link does say TEST, but my order did process and is in my account. Now wondering how June 30 will work...

They cannot cancel thousands of paid tickets now. So it seems to be a real sale.

I think they can unfortunately.

I say 50/50. If they do, no harm for me I still got to spend a long time looking at the map and prices per section. If they cancel my order, I'll probably just go GA if I can't get close to where I bought yesterday. From a business point, why cancel money in hand? If the general public doesn't know there was a glitch...no one is the wiser

Any info about all this somewhere else? Not yet in the media?

Houston and Chicago are two shows they want to be a quick sell out. The first being an opening show. Good press if demand is high and tickets are gone fast on the official sales day. If Chicago sells well, that paves the way for Chicago 2.

I still think it smells bad.
Wouldn't there be some actual signed contract in place with AARP re: initial ticket access?
What happens when the AARP crowd (which includes me) signs on at 10AM Nov 29 and sees entire sections already sold out?
would there be a "oops sorry there was a glitch" clause in the contract?
I believe the ticket outlets are capable of a little intentional pre-pre-sale sleaziness, or "irregularity", but I wouldn't think AARP would be party to it.
In any case, this site in invaluable for its info sharing.

From previous experiences, they release tickets in patches. More often than not there are mostly bad tickets available in pre-sales, then suddenly they release a few pit tickets later on etc. On so many occasions, pit tickets have been available when you least expect it. The 'first come, first served' principle is mostly an illusion in modern ticketing. Sometimes I suspect they only offer poor tickets early on, to create a 'soon sold out feeling' and make people panick to buy those.

It was a nice practice run if nothing else..

I think you're spot on. AARP and other sponsors being impacted was my first thought on why the transactions might be reversed. Tix would have been more likely to stick if the glitch only lasted a short while I think.. but whole sections wiped out... A drag, but they almost have to reverse 'em.
