Well, I do hate them and not without reason.

I'm a university student and a Stones fan - a combination that might occure often than you might think. You wonder why you never see more of us at the concerts? - the reason is quite clear. We cannot afford the high ticket prices. If I buy a ticket for a Stones concert today, it'll take about 25% of my monthly budget. Last time there were about 50 people from my university, friends of mine that wanted to go, but they simply couldn't because they couldn't afford it.

The result of the high ticket prices is an audience that mainly consists of people that go there because it is a social event, they want to be seen at a Stones concert and they they don't go there because of the music. It's quite obvious imo that this has a very bad influence both on the crowd anticipation and on the setlist choice.
Conservativ and rather old, uninterested crowd --> same setlist without any changes as the audience does only react to overplayed hits.

If you take concerts in South America or Spain or Portugal everyone will praise how great the audience and the concert experience was - I think this is mainly due to the fact that there are lots of young people - and why? Because of the prices.

The high prices stop both the young fans and the hard core fans with limited financial resources from going to a Stones concert. That's a fact - and imo that is not what the Stones should be about. Cheaper tickets would make it harder to get tickets, but at least there would be a fair chance for everyone.

One possibility for university students: link the university database with the ticket agencies, let the university students enter their password distributed only to them and they can allocate tickets to a reduced tarif (only dreaming...)

I dislike the 35% increase since 2003

Today I wish ticket prices would be higher. Everybody´s complaining, but then the FOS tickets sold out. I did not get the tickets that I wanted. So there is a demand that is higher than the supply. This means the price should have been higher to cut down the demand a bit.

Sorry guys, but this is a economic fact. A price is a tool to cut down demand. Otherwise I would be driving a Porsche.

I think roughly GBP £100 or Euro/Dollar equivalent ought to be the ceiling for ticket prices. £150 is just too excessive. They surely must end up excluding a certain number of people from seeing them who would otherwise like to do so.

I hate the ticket prices, because...............

i won't be able to afford, to go to as many of the shows, as i'd like to.

Doing 3 or 4- would like to do 6 or 7, (similar figure to Licks Tour).

I subscribe to the others simply because no show is worth over a hundred euros. And yes, it makes thm look like greedy old men.

I hate the prices as i would like to see more concerts, it also raises the bar once again for other groups pricing there tickets and kinda get embarrased when explaining the prices to friends & relations, my problem is that i know i will end up going hopefully to at least three concerts.

It's is really difficult to go to many shows. I think Holland isn't going to get as many shows as before because of the high prices. The demand is much lower.
I hate them because my friends won't go because they think it is stupid to pay that much money for a concert. A lot of people won't go and miss out a great concert because they think, and rightfully so, it is way to expensive!!!!!!!!!
So a lot of people miss out on a great evening.

And after all these years of making sooooo much money, do the really need to earn another 100 million??!! Is 50 million not enough?

Err......no i have my standards

I hate the ticket prices because
- no rock concert is worth more than $50
- no stadium concert is worth more than $20
- even if the Stones earn $100'000 or more a night I call it higly immoral
- I don't see where the rest of the money is going except into the pockets of Michael Cohl and other chiselers
- if it's $100 this year it will be $125 next year
- most peoples wages haven't grown as much the Stones ticket prices have grown, inflation is no explanation for the incredible increase in price
- I don't accept the supply and demand theory. If they are @#$%&' capitalists they should admit it. If they are behaving like the cruelest monopolists there must be governmental regulation.
- too many fellow Stonesfans can't afford them anymore (because it is not only the ticket prices but transportation too)
- they are so high the Stones will never tour Africa ("motherland") cause they would get stoned in a completely different way
- I am a fan, I deserve free entrance
- It's not as easy to rush a concert as I'd wish
- I have already payed enough
- I don't like to pay for anything
- I want free love, free dope and free prescription of the Stones

I hate them, and the german contract partners like getgo.
Ticket sales in germany never start right on time or servers are going down or many other unprofessional shit. And I'm waiting for my code since 1 week, and from rs.com my mobile number and my email were published or sold.

Far enough to hate prices, Cohl, the whole backoffice and the contractors of the $ton€$.
