Having listened through the album a couple of times I still wouldn't rank it higher than any album before 1983 (with an exception for TSMR).
But it's maybe the best post 1983 album. Still I'm happy that they finally released a new album after such a long wait.

So you've listened to it twice since it's release?

You must have a really busy schedule!

Anything pre-1968 (with exception to AFTERMATH and OUT OF OUR HEADS); 1973-1980.

Yes.

Better than SOME GIRLS.

Oh my.

Don't remind me not to buy you a beer - you might not like it after two beers because, well, it's only been two beers, so why bother.

Even if it's something you like.

Hopefully you're only listening to it via YouTube etc and didn't buy a hard copy.

Instead of showing which albums rank lower for me, thought I'd just list where it currently sits in my favorite Stones studio albums rankings (of the 26 US albums not counting deluxe versions of the albums only the original versions). Here goes (my top 12 of the 26:

1. EXile
2. Sticky Fingers
3. Let It Bleed
4. Aftermath
5. Beggars Banquet
6. Tattoo You
7. Goats Head Soup
8. HACKNEY DIAMONDS!(Still loving it and playing it multiple times most days! This was not the case for A Bigger Bang.)
9. Some Girls
10. Out of Our Heads
11. Emotional rescue
12. Undercover

Back on the turntable and just gets better .
The tracks flow out in perfect order
And every time I listen to it I hear something different and it lures me back in.
A classic album.

Albums pre-1983 lower than HD:
- Between The Buttons (in many ways their worst album ever)
- 50% of TSMR (the other 50% is actually very good and certainly better than HD)
- IORR

I'd say HD is on the level of ER, but I prefer ER because it has some really excellent songs on side B.

I can vividly recall Emotional Rescue coming out, and getting it with the big thermal camera poster and everything, handling the execrable reviews from the British music press, and managing to like to brass arrangement on Indian Girl; it's been a long time since I gave it a spin, but I only really liked Dance and Let Me Go on side one, and the last three on side two.

Hackney Diamonds is several levels above ER in quality and sheer enjoyability for me. It's closer to the joy and excitement of Tattoo You.

Nice list Jimmer...mine would very closely mirror that with the exception of GHS in the top 12, unless we were allowed to include those deluxe cuts.

HD is more evenly balanced. Everything is more or less of the same "enjoyable" level. Get Close is a low point but the rest is rather okay.
ER is more varied. There is rather weak stuff like Let Me Go, Where The Boys All Go, Summer Romance, Send It To Me and Dance. There is my personal guilty pleasure Indian Girl. All About You is cute. And then are absolute highlights like Down In The Hole, ER and She's So Cold. HD is lacking in absolute highlights.
