Sounds to me like Karl Denson on Get Close. I know he said he didn’t think he’d ever be invited to record with them, but I believe that was well before they recorded these tracks.

The first three tracks do surprise me positively!
It sounds different, yet classic Stones riffs, but Jaggers part is with way more melodies. He sings with far more power but shouts or gnarls less.

Grt Close is Slave 2 with another power riff by Keith, percussion, amd sax at last! Love it!

Depending On You reminds me of Wild Horses. Cannot wait till the album release. Hope there is enough dynamics, through lot of guitar parts, as in begin the electric riffs an acoustic guitar layer behind.

Yes, I love it more than Angry. I had to get into Angry by listening to it a few times. Get Close = love on first listen.

You're being cautionary? That's a fabulous album...some tracks definitely stronger than material on Some Girls.

If Emotional Rescue had come out in place of Goats Head Soup, it would have been better received as the expected hard rocking album. Goats Head Soup was 1973 art house style. And soft. I still think it's a masterpiece (and very different from it's two predecessors) but it confused people as it didn't meet expectations.

Wow, Depending on you sounds just fantastic! The chorus gives me goosebumps!

How can Mick sound sooo good still at 80? His voice is so good still!

Catchy, great sax, strong start to the album with Angry.

DOY - OK- maybe it will grow on me.

Dependent on you - it’s got a late Bruce ‘letters to you feel’ to the whole thing - a ballad but with a full sound. Lovely show of Micks fantastic range at 80 too. Really good feel to the track. I think for those that say it’s ok on first listen, could be a real grower, especially with the full and proper depth of the sound on the Final Cut.

Get close - can’t add anything not written above - some great comments - I can simply attest that they are correct and it’s a little belter

Man these 2 new tunes sound great, keeps getting better. Anticipation grows!
